What’s amazing is you can see a Cr1tikal video from 9 years ago. And it is still almost equal chaotic energy to what he is today. He literally didn’t change.
His editing took a sharp downturn. These old videos are jam-packed with jokes from start to finish. Now he cuts up 20min twitch segments with 2-5 funny jokes throughout.
Glad that I am not the only one who saw the downturn. These videos were made when he was making then for fun. Now since his income depends on it now things has to change not for the better in my opinion I am afraid. Sad. I used to enjoy these videos. Completely understand though he is successful but I feel like the innocence has been lost... not that I am blaming him but it's just... damn....
A part of the charm of this channel was all the random ass games he'd play, while everyone else would stick to safe games he'd always pull out shit like this
Nah if this was a new video he would have a face cam, a 5 minute intro segment, and would stop the commentary to thank someone every .5 seconds. God i hate twitch.

Combination of fatigue build up, and lack of focus caring more about the end goal instead of the task at hand. It's why taking a week long break from a game does so much good
remember playing this game back in 2008. Me and my friends figured out you can edit the textures in microsoft paint and we made the game into skateboarding away from police. The flying surfboard was a plane carrying on of those ads.
He has a rapidly growing channel, so he has to change some things. He is also growing as a person as you can tell in his voice in his videos. Things change and you just have to go with the flow. :P Feel happy for him!
I remember back when this was out before Charlie got big and I watched a bunch of videos where Charlie would just swear while playing video games a bunch and they were fantastic. I'm really glad that he blew up as much as he did, he seems like a really cool guy.
Came back here to say this and the Oswald videos are my comfort videos, I’ve watched this so many things and the pause before the “what in the piss” gets me every time. I still quote parts of this video
