Syobon Action AKA Cat Mario is a 2D Japanese platform freeware indie video game released in February 2007 and developed by Chiku. This may be one of the very first 'troll' games ever created and amazingly it still holds up to this day! Here is an edited playthrough of my first time playing Cat Mario!!

@@DGR_Dave The irony is that there's a secondary solution to that, where you let mr yeetus throw you above the ceiling when they touch the spring, letting you go to what is considered the 'true ending' and four extra levels. Not exactly clear the first time around especially if you don't get japanese.

The dungeon level tune is from the classic Wii game Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, which is on a very short list of my all-time Wii games. It may make for some fun footage if our esteemed host has not already played it.

The game threw a fit because NOBODY beats the first level. You broke that rule. Also, because you beat the entire game, the game's developer is frantically trying to go back in time to erase every successful completion of their game, so it remains "unwinnable".

At least in this game you can kinda remember where the traps are. In unfair mario everything looks the same so you just have to guess where the spike or the falling block is, which are like the only two trolls used

there's actually an expansion that lets you access another 4 levels. I know it sounds like a troll, but you need to get Yeet-us to walk onto the spring, and as he's flying up, let him yeet you onto the roof, similar to the 1-2 warp world, where it'll take you to the levels 5-8.

@@CybeastID Same, and the 'secret exit' was actually the correct way to beat it. I was surprised when he beat the game after findig chicken man (and even more because no one else mentioned the version where he kills you, i was already thinking it was all a dream xD)
