Sir please do add a percentile column and if possible please do link it with section analysis, it will help us compare, have we actually improved or the mock was just easy

Hi sir, I am attending IMS offline classes for CAT 2024. I am already giving SIMCAT but I'm not sure if I should take the test series of any other institute or not. Can you please guide me exactly what I should do? Will the 20 SIMCATs will suffice or should I take up another test series along with SIMCAT

For now, the SIMCATs (proctored and take home) should be good enough. If you are going through the mocks faster than the frequency at which they are launched only then will I suggest going for another provider. You can take a call on this come August so take all the SIMCATs you can till then.

I had done it primarily for the IMS channel till last year so you will be able to find them there. This year, I intend to do these sessions on this channel so let’s hope I’m able to work out the details.

Sir my profile is 10th :- 93% 12th :- 88 % ( Science ) Graduation 2018 :- 63 % ( BA Poltical Science ) Gave 3 Upsc attempts 2019 , 2020 , 2021 PG Diploma 1 year 2022-23 :- 71% ( International Security) Gave 4th Upsc attempt 2023 Gave CAT 2023 :- Secured 84 perentile and converted Welinkar 4 years of GAP Can i get IIM BLACKI calls if i secure 99 percentile in CAT 2024 ? If yes , would you please suggest me how can I improve my profile to convert those calls ?

I won’t be looking at only BLACKI with your profile and would want to have some cushion in the form of at least FMS, XLRI, MDI, second generation IIMs, IIFT, and maybe even SIBM and NMIMS. With a high 99 percentile, you might have a chance of getting a call from I and K depending on their criteria this year and may be C. For profile development, I would like you to get some corporate exposure in the form of an internship or a project at least in the function you would want to pursue after MBA. That will help the panelists see you as a 26 year old with some workex. If that is not possible, you can do the usual courses that people do on portals like Coursera. That should give you something to talk about during your interviews.
