It's not because of what their guardian taught them, it's because they chose to learn from other sources. When in situations like that, it's important to look beyond the people you're living with.

EXACTLY!!!! It’s so out of character for them to write him as this dumb sidekick when he is definitely NOT! I dont think their miraculouses ever affects Marinette and Adrien’s critical thinking, right? Adrien is smart, level-headed and very much self-aware. The writers make him dumb in a lot of cases just to highlight Ladybug when they’re supposed to be EQUALS 😭

@@tacojimena first of all, yes in the first seasons she did stalk adrien and got obsessed with him ever since he was nice to her, but like who wouldn't, a famous ,rich , handsome fashion model , yet nice and sweet personality, he's a true ideal type, and since marinette didn't receive any romantic moment in her life, she thought he was the one, she thought stalking him was a better idea to not let any other girl interact romantically with him, plus she wanted to spend some time with him so she can get to know him and get him to like her, but your comment is wrong to the fact that in seasons 4 and 5 she tried several times to avoid him for paris's own good, unlike other obsessive fans, she wasn't selfish and chose adrien over paris, and we all know what happens if she loved chat noir, firstly , the media will surpass their limits and bother them with every single thing, you can tell from what happened in prime Queen episode, secondly, just like what happened in cat walker, her love will affect the success of their missions together and may lead them to danger, thirdly, they'll think that revealing their identities isn't a bad idea, after all they already knew eachother with or without the mask just like chat blanc and ephemeral, you guys already watched these episodes and still forget why ladybug is rejecting chat? I mean the most important reason of all is that she doesn't love him but he keeps showing his love, until you experience some male being too lovey dovey with you, you'll do the worse than ladybug

In one, CN is having one-sided love and they can't know anything about each other and they have to focus on the missions, and LB probably remembers the Chat Blanc times more or less. On the LB case, they think that they'll either have to stop being hero completely or then be probably alone forever. Don't get me wrong, I think LB can be really insensitive and I hate the whole "teenager girl stalking fanclub"- trope, it is creepy, but CN who can't take no for an answer isn't exactly cute when you think about it and CN got mad when LB didn't return the feelings they imagined to be there. But this is also the case where LB personality is more serious and they have more responsibility being guardian and all. While CN is sometimes goofing around. LB can be person to think they are responsible for everything and having somebody who is just goofing around can really grind your nerves. But like we saw in some episodes, CN easy-going personality compliments and relaxes LB, so it kinda is good and bad match.

Ok sorry. I didn’t realize how hateful my comment sounded. I do love marinette/ladybug, as a character she’s extremely entertaining and interesting to think about (her perspective, her feelings, etc;) because she shows a lot of duality in her personality. Awkward geeky fan girl, compassionate caring class representative, confident and clever hero. That’s a lot of sides to explore about her. I don’t hate marinette, I just think her one major flaw are her feelings when it comes to Adrien and I dont like how she’s showed basically zero development and everyone’s congratulating her for being able to speak a sentence to Adrien. For example, Alya doesn’t believe marinette about Lila being awful because she thinks marinettes blinded by her crush and she’s not entirely wrong. Marinettes lack of control when it comes to Adrien is what led to Lila hating ladybug in the first place, her entire class think she’s capable of theft because of a crush, not to mention alya was there when marinette stole adriens phone during copycat so they’re not wrong. So yeah there’s the creepy factor to her crush that a lot of people seem to find funny and I don’t for obvious reasons I just gave. I don’t have a problem with geeky fangirl marinette, I have a problem with “I’m letting go of all my morals just to be with this amazing guy I love love loooove” (who she knows nothing much about because they never communicate for more than 4 lines!!!). I just think a show that is meant for children should show healthier and more developed relationships if they want to make the love story part such a big part of the show. It’s not right to show teens that stalking their crush or stealing from them or sabotaging their female friends, aka kagami and Chloe, are ok. Another thing that pissed me off about that scene is I never really agreed with people who said chat noir was pushy or too flirty and harassed ladybug, Adrien was sheltered his entire life so of course he doesn’t know when to draw the line when it comes to showing affection. Also he had Chloe for his only friend. “Let me launch myself to your arm from across the room adrikinssss Chloe”. Even then, the professing love and making puns aren’t horrible, or kissing her hand, that’s just sweet! Imagine if Felix was chat! You saw how that turned out, literally cornered lb to get a kiss from her. That’s what harassment looks like. So no I don’t think lb telling chat to put a cap on his feelings was fair or right and it was just cruel. What I hate about her character is how much development it still lacks and basically showed no improvement whatsoever in regards to her crushes. Season 1 Lb gives up, chat comforts her. Season 3 Lb makes a mistake, chat helps her, she doesn’t tell him the truth about there being a guardian, doesn’t make him feel more included. Says he’s just another partner and mistreats him in general and that needs to change and I’m not just satisfied with a “I messed up again.” “You still have me. You will always have me”. Chat doesn’t deserve to go through that again. Also we didn’t even get this huge argument we wanted for the sake of the angst. I was willing to endure it for that but no! We got no fight between Lb and chat.

It's actually a good point to note Adrien raised sheltered and with Chloe, but that just makes it understandable but not okay and Adrien keeps making face when Chloe launches into them, so you'd think they'd know better. But I think you misunderstand what harassment is. Felix straight up tried to force LB to kiss, but while CN gestures might be taken as sweetness, that definitely is harassment if you don't want it. Also, LB remembers that CN turned into Blanc because of their revealed identities and love, so it might hurt CN to tell them to stop, but it really hurt LB to see whole Paris just destroyed and their loved ones dead. While I somewhat agree with developement part, CN has made mistakes too and it isn't LB's fault both guardian and Plagg didn't say anything. I do hate that CN isn't actually telling how they are feeling and we could really use a moment where they actually communicate their feelings.

You should expect the worst from marinette when it comes to these things, and no, even if marinette was the boy at this point and she stalked adrien as a girl, I wouldn't be surprised since she never really broke into his house, except in chat blanc but she was already dressed as ladybug to avoid bad results, I hate to say it but lila was right when she said that ladybug/marinette is too young to be thinking about perfect plans, she's a teenager so I'm not surprised that she thought about stalking, the real thing I'm surprised about is that instead of her friends telling her it's wrong to stalk him , they helped her, because well, it's the only way she can have some private time with him, since he was never allowed to actually hang out with her, that's why I see that it's normal for marinette to stalk him , and well she didn't really stalk him more than 5 times, she can just do as lila did and lie about helping adrien with his bad marks and interrupt his house, but she didn't, she can do the worst but she didn't
