044 - Catalysts
Paul Andersen explains how catalysts can speed up a reaction without being consumed in the reaction. Catalysts can lower the activation energy of reaction be stabilizing the transition state. They can also create new reaction pathways with new reaction intermediates that lower the overall activation energy.

Catalysts can lower the activated energy to hasten chemical reaction but without being consumed in the reaction. How and why? The catalytic atom will make temporary bonding with a particular reactant atom in which this will cause the unique nucleus structure of the reactant atom to flex in slightly different manner that also cause its edgorbtoslengths or orbitals to re-orientate in a conducive manner that encouraged reaction with other reactant atom to hasten the production of the product. As soon as the product has been formed, the temporary bonding between the catalytic atom and the product will immediately cut off thus the catalytic atom has not been consumed in the reaction. The way in which the catalytic atom in hastening the chemical reaction between reactant atoms to produce product by first making temporary bonding with a particular reactant atom to make it conducive to react with other reactant atom as if the activated energy has been lower! Yes indeed the reactant atoms now can react better and easier to produce the product with the aid of the catalytic atom where the catalyst without being consumed in the reaction. Whether one called that sub-reaction or sub-reactions, the catalytic atoms enable reactant atoms to react easier to produce product where it itself will not being consumed at all in the reaction. If you are interested in real discoveries, I would recommend you to read my book, The Unification Theory - Volume One and you will be amazed with lots of new, interesting discoveries. In God I trust.

Basically, Catalysts find an alternative pathway for the reaction to occur that needs less energy (so its easier and faster for the reaction to occur)
