Took Corey to the river mouth to try and catch some kahawai, a great base for the tasty seafood chowder. Out for a dive for some mussels for another tasty ingredient to the chowder! Smoking fish and mussels in the Weber Master Touch Plus.

Mike the crowded was amazing to the point of cruelty having to watch such an awesome feed . I'm in the UK at the moment and there punny mussels don't come near a good old NZ green lip but I still fordage for them down Cornwall. Can you deep fry a couple for me as I always used to buy a couple of deep fried mussels from the takeaway on the way home from the pub God I miss them. Cheers Dave

Well done Mike, another cracking video, I've been so busy working that I haven't been making, watching or commenting on any videos for the last couple of months, I'm stuck at home now with no work because of this bloody coronavirus!! At least I can catch up on my favourite channels & possibly get back in the game for a while!! I must say that them mussels are the biggest I've ever seen & I can't wait until 30 degrees in the UK, It's only 8 degrees here today!! Hi Paul, was wondering where you were, has been ages since I've seen you online! We go in to lockdown midnight tonight for 4 weeks minimum. Those were small mussels haha, very tasty and pollution free. Stay safe over there my friend

Hi Mike, it's been crazy over here in the UK, we're in lockdown in all but name, we're allowed out for provisions & just once a day for exercise but must stay 2 metres apart from anyone else, can't wait for all this to go away, hope you & your family keep safe, take care pal.

Hey Kia ora Mike. Love your videos bro. Waching from Sunshine Coast Qld. Originally my familly is from Tolaga Bay.I get homesick a lot. What do you prefer to smoke etc on, the Weber or the barrel bullet type smoker. Have you ever thought about sizing down on the surf rod for these fish might feel the bite better and not have to work out your arms as much lol. All in all been loving the videos send me your email if you don’t mind I have some questions to ask you about RU-vid stuff
