The tropical waters of Northern Australia is one of the best fishing spots on the planet! I join a mate in his new boat for a brilliant session catching big fish in the waters off Townsville. Hope you enjoy the outing. #returnoutdoors
Thx Brad! LMN are in my opinion the best tasting fish in the northern part of OZ. I was hoping like hell first color wasn't a chinaman lol. Take what you can eat fresh and leave the spot/fish alone for next time. Nice rig too. Cheers for the Vlog 🍻🎣🐊
I couldn't agree more with only taking a couple of fish from a spot then leave it alone. It is far wiser to spend a couple of hours finding new fishing ground once you have a feed. Greatly appreciate your comment. Cheers!
Gday mate at first i thought you had sold the tinnie and upgraded ,thats a nice boat and your right the tropics is one of the greatest places to fish ,those fish were amazing just the size of them and you wernt to far offshore either .
It sure is a brilliant boat and the fishing is great in the tropics. The Nannygai were definitely on the bite and good size. Thanks for your support. Cheers!
The cyclone has now passed and I am keen to get back on the water. I released the Cobia as I was satisfied with the amount of fish we had already caught. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Cheers!
Those LM nannygai are horses mate. Soon we won't be able to catch too many of them if the greenies have their way. Nice rig you got to fish out of too. Definately spoilt. Keep the rod bending mate and more great videos.
They sure were good size nannygai and heaps of fun to catch. Thanks heaps for your continued support it is greatly appreciated. I look forward to making plenty more videos. Cheers!
Stonker Nanny's, that definitely stretched your arms. No doubt you have tried Cobia, in my opinion one of the best eating fish which I rank above Spanish for their firm white flesh. Thanks for sharing your day with us (another great video)
Hahaha - Actually the shabbiest one I think you are referring to was the captain. He definitely should stand closer to the razor when shaving. Very good captain all the same. Thanks heaps for your comment. Take care!
Deano from Napa Valley, CA USA What!! No crabs?? LOL Why did you chunk the cobia? Cobia is meaty, bursting with rich, buttery flavor, and extremely versatile to cook. Its firm texture makes it perfect for the grill That was straight from the internet!! LOL
Hahaha - Too funny my friend. The internet description of cobia has my mouth watering. I had plenty of fish, that is why I released the cobia. I greatly value your comment. Take care!
Cool Video as usual, so is the boat yours and is this a new direction to compliment your other videos? Wow, that was sure a nice cobia, We love eating them and they give an amazing fight that is for sure. I finally spent the weekend with my little Grandson who is rising 4 and we were going through all my outboards getting them working so we could finally get out fishing and crabbing soon. Looking forward to seeing his reaction to catching some crabs soon. Cheers Garry and Damon
I wish it was my boat in this video, it belongs to a mate. I agree Cobia are a great eating fish. I look forward to hearing how the fishing and crabbing goes with your Grandson. They will be very special memories you will create for you both. Thanks for taking the time to comment and share. Cheers!
Thanks for that, and he was so excited to get his lifejacket in Red obviously because its better than the Blue one. Which we all know to be a fact. I have now warned the kids I am going to leave a boat to each of my Grandsons and in that way I know they will keep the tradition going where the Kids would be to busy to go boating much LOL . Looking forward to your next videos and how did you fair with the Cyclone? Cheers Garry @@returnoutdoors2210
The boat performed very nicely in the conditions on this day. It felt correctly powered with the 200hp Yamaha and offered a soft ride into a head sea and was honest to course in handling a following sea. Thanks heaps for your question. Cheers!
