Another excellent video. David Wright was a real character and a wealth of knowledge too. I could smell that crab in coconut cream and those flathead fillets & warrigal greens through the screen. Thank you for more cooking inspiration. I have no trouble catching a feed, but doing justice to our wonderful seafood is the hardest part & I think my cooking is about to go through the roof. Wonderful !

William smaller ganged hooks say 2/0 work well or smaller great for baits like white bait, fish strips ect. I use 4kg line on my charters and have no problems, thanks again Regards Scotty & Paul

hi my name is liam and i live in cairns fnq and wondering if you could give me some tip for catching flat head land based here thank i am cheering you on to 1m subs
@TheHookandTheCook
@TheHookandTheCook 7 лет назад
Kirsten you live in a special part of Australia with some outstanding fishing on your door step, Barra Jacks and all the reef fish one could every wish for strange you are keen to catch Flathead mate. Flathead love sandy drop offs so around creek mouths and sand flats they will take small mullet, strip baits and soft plastics. Trinity river shoulds hold good numbers but watch out for the bigger Lizards also worth a try around the mariner right in town. 1m subs now that would be good Thanks for all your support and glad you are enjoying our clips Please subscribe and share our clips weekly ru-vid.com Thanks again Regards Scotty & Paul

I wouldn't eat anything out of Botany Bay. It's Sydney's industrial toilet.
