I'm a strong believer in CnR when it comes to wild trout but it's refreshing to see someone who doesn't act like eating a trout is a crime. I love me a good wild trout campfire cook from time to time
@@lerssilefa7349 that is some elitist far left bullshit. Rainbows, browns and brookies are stocked worldwide and are abundant in many regions with some exceptions. I imagine the browns are native to Finland but any other species that have been introduced should be fair game
Really enjoy stream fishing videos, good job spicing the trout with the rice. If your old enough I would throw the m dew away and try some Coors products. Great video !!! John T.
I seriously need to take your advice and just keep moving. On foot there's so little water you can realistically expect to cover. I still keep catching myself casting over and over again at the same feature expecting a different result. I'm basically trying to tell the fish that they should be there. If there aren't, they aren't. Started taking fishing more seriously this summer and had a ton of bad habits. From retying way too often to dictating where the fish should be instead of going and finding them. Channels like yours have helped me take a step back and reassess my approach and I've improved a ton already in these past few months. Beautiful fish you got yourself on there, one day I'd love to chase down some big tigers.
I loved how your like, first cast of the day and the lure barely hit the water and the trout champed it! Awesome video, brother! I'm a big fan of your as of recent... I've been watching your videos back to back for day! Keep the great content. from xplrnw NORTHWEST WA
Never let anyone talk you out of putting flavour into your food lol. Sometimes less is more this is true, but sometimes people just don’t know how to cook too 🤣 I can’t wait to catch the first brook trout of the season and make my Chinese steamed trout. April 1st can’t come quick enough
What beautiful Trout, absolutely gorgeous!! I can't think of anywhere you can go to catch that kind of variety 🙂!! Hell, the only thing missing were a Rainbow and Golden !! Lol 😆 You are very lucky to have that 😉!!
Good looking meal - without the dill weed. I like my trout or salmon cooked up with kernel corn and a bit of onion, salt and pepper. Fry it all together at the same time. Super easy and delicious.
Cooked up some tiger trout from the weekend on a backpacking trip! Keep up the great content! you should do a trout roe recipe, that would be really unique
Always love the videos! Looks like some delicious trout - next time try it with the salt and pepper (of course) but add garlic powder, onion powder and some paprika - SO GOOD! Keep makin' good content, its great to see other folks actually CATCH some fish!!! :D
Beautiful catches man! Love to see it! Coming from a fellow fly fisherman. Idk if I missed it or not, but I don't see you wetting your hands before handling. You seem like a fish loving guy and with that comes having the fish's interest in mind when catching/releasing. I'd like to think I care just as much as most trout loving fishermen do. With that comes proper handling, so dipping you hands in the water before handling would be awesome to see. Maybe you've been doing that off-camera or something, but I'm sure the trout fishing community would really appreciate seeing good handling. If you have been doing that, great! If not, then I'd encourage you to do so or give it a quick search for why. It's important for youtubers and other influencers prioritize good fish handling because upcoming fishermen and audiences like me are watching and copying. If I had one more ask I'd ask for you to include the parts where you get your hands wet in the videos so people can see and follow your example. Great video man! Just hit that subscription button! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
When I fish Rapala’s I tend to throw up stream and reel back fast with a size 7 sink. You are casting down (in the beginning of the vid) and reeling into the current. Gonna have to try. Also, never caught a Tiger. I’m north of you and fish the Logan/Weber/Ogden Love your vids
Dude!, Man in going in for back surgery next week after recovery I was hoping to fish this little local you are!! Getting on in my years but not so far gone that you wont have competition! Unless your scared lol!!
Love the videos man, you always crush it? What area of the country has such a dense population of tiger trout? I always read they were rare to catch but you had a field day! Lol I’d love to catch one myself
Oregon has a lot of tiger trout. Pacific Northwest. If you notice how wild the creek is you can kind of tell he has worked hard hiking or searching out his spot.
This was one of your better videos as of late. There was no shortage of water in that stream and there were a lot of great looking fishing holes. What is the exact name and size of that rapala and can you cast it very far in a lake? I'm going to buy me a couple of them when I get your answer.
I notice you're casting downstream, any reason why? I am just learning about stream fishing and always see them casting upstream as the trout are facing the current. Maybe because you are mainly fishing deep holes rather than a super shallow stream it doesn't matter as much?
Yeah I always heard that to, I think its mostly because people don’t like feeling the resistance of the current when they’re reeling. I catch just as many fish no matter what I do so it’s just kind of a preference thing.
