It's mid-winter and sea fishing on the west coast of Scotland can be slow. Nevertheless, we set out for one last session of 2023, with the aim of finding something, anything, to eat.
We've deliberately chosen a venue that we know can throw up a variety of species, however, we have yet to fish here during winter. With Dab, Whiting, Coalie, Pollack and Cod in mind, the issue might not be what we can catch, but at what size.
