This creek was loaded with rainbow trout! I caught a bunch and also saw several golden (palomino) trout! Then I cooked them up over an open fire! I hope you guys enjoy so much! Thank you for being a part of my channel!

Went fishing by myself for the first time with my little kids today. I didnt catch anything but it made me realize i would have no idea what to do if i did. So i came home and got on youtube to learn and found this video. So cool! i want to be this at ease with wildlife. awesome vid!!

If I can catch one of those I will! I have not tried one in a while. It was actually harder to catch them than it appears in the video. I think I needed 4 lb test!

Love the videos ace! But you haven't fished crystal clear water for trout and salmon until you fish my homeland of Newfoundland! We got great trout, salmon and browns here up to 15 pounds. My personal best was a 13 pound Atlantic salmon. 30 minute fight on a fly rod! You should consider it. And if you do, I'd love to fish with you bro. Much love!

Man do I miss catching and eating trout.. I always built up the fire, get a nice bed of coals, then double up the aluminum foil on itself, that way you have 2 layers instead of 1. You could also wrap the fish in banana leaves, and put that on the coals. Great stuff, great video man!

Great video man. I fish a lot but don't usually catch and cook. But your making me want to start doing it more. last time I did it was five years ago and I still talk about it today nothing is better then fresh caught trout when your camping out with some buddy's.

In Southern California we use freaking tubes all the time. We also use 2lb mono for every trout size. Stradics and Phenix rods are the go to in Southern California btw love your videos

Best trout fishing on earth might be in idaho. I used to go out there and visit family in the summers and man i caught so many and saw many, many more. The clear waters are great for spotting them too.

If you leave the husk on it makes a good handle. I like to coat trout in cornmeal and flour, then fry them. Skin is really good that way.

I'd say there's a good chance those fish are stocked. An indicator would be the worn down fins from rearing in the concrete raceways at the hatchery. Still fun to catch. Enjoyed the video.

I work in a kitchen and when you are grabbing hot stuff you want your rag to be dry, water transfers temperatures very fast so next time use a dry rag 😏💪🏼

Im from Vancouver, Canada so im mainly hooking salmon, lingcod, and halibut but would love to get my hands on a trout!!
