Another offshore trip in the books. Managed to catch a few amberjack. First time catching amberjack for me and it was a blast. Also had a fun time trying to figure out what they wanted to eat. The bait was loaded at this spot and I'm glad I had a sabiki with me. I was also pretty happy that Eric managed to put two in the yak. He had one eat a topwater but it shook the hook.

Oh for sure! I will admit that I'm not savvy on amberjack so I'll just consider all of them greater until I figure it out. Hopefully your bro was good because I know sometimes even the game wardens aren't 100% spun up on species and regs.

Love the vids man. Really like that you put the lures on screen when you load them up. I live in Atlanta and travel down to Destin as much as possible, do you do any guided tours? I plan on coming down in January just to fish the reef (if weather doesn't permit, bay fishing).

I'm digging the channel brotha, quick question: that bag you have seems like my medium hobie fish bag, will that fit offshore species like kings? Maybe with the tail out?

I appreciate it! Yes, that is the medium bag by reliable fishing products which Hobie also sells with their logo on it. It's 16" x 24" so any fish over 30" will definitely have the tail sticking out.
