This week Coyote has teamed up with wildlife expert Philip "Wildman" Rakoci to seek out the Mexican Free-Tail Bat under the dark desert highways of Arizona.

my dad saw these bully's hurting a baby bat. my dad went to them and pushed them all really hard away grabbed to baby weak bat and put the baby bat in his hat and ran. after a few months of my dad taking care of him at home he got to go to a animal shelter it was different u can't buy them u just go bring hurt animals that can't survive outside by there selves. the baby bat got brought there we a few other little bats. now the little bat is ok

Pretty sure I got one of these guys who has been hanging out by my front door about week now. I named him Picasso. At first I called management but for some reason they were afraid of him, kinda glad it worked out that way because it’s comforting to have him chilling there with me😅

Bats are cute. They are not aggressive and flying fuzz balls and keep the insect population under control. Also should check out fruit bats. They survive on fruit and their juices. None here in the US, but they are one of the species that keeps the rain forests alive. Also they are adorable and look like sky puppies.

I live in a big urban city (Toronto), but one time I woke up in the middle of the night because I little bat was actually sitting on my chest! It took flight and flew around all over the inside of my house in big circles. My father and I opened all the windows in the house and after a few minutes it finally found one and flew outside. My mother was terrified, but my father and I loved it because it was so small and adorable. The next morning there was guano all over the floor in every room. The wacky thing is that this wasn't the only time. It happened again two years later!

I had an awesome experience with a little brown bat in a cabin in North Minnesota once; I noticed the bugger flying around inside the cabin around 12 or so. And at first, I thought it was a large moth until I heard some scrabbling sounds in the blinds. After about an hour of chasing him around with some heavy cloth gloves and a towel, I finally got him. Chittering all the way out the door. Adorable.

Bats rarely carry rabies, their blood is pretty cold so while not impossible for them to carry rabies, it's unlikely. There's one thing I don't get though, people will go out of their way to pet a stray dog or cat but suddenly with bats its NONO WHAT IF IT HAS RABIES? When literally stray cats and dogs carry rabies more often...

Adorable little critters. My father is an electrician and we were taking down some field lights. He was sawing the lights off and the poles into pieces, I was picking up the pieces and taking them to the scrap pile. Apparently, a few bats made their home in one and fell out right onto my shirt. they clung in desperation as I freaked out, then took off flying. Felt sorry for them, it was the middle of winter in Savannah GA, cold and the saw had to have REALLY disoriented them due to the vibrations and cutting of the pole, hell of a rude awakening and I fear they may have not made it from such a jarring experience.

タピアエドガー Mexican is a race, and a nationality. Miss Nyong'o is not Mexican. She's Nigerian, who grew up in Mexico. There are small populations of Mexicans who are "Black," but they look like George Lopez(often lighter skinned, often with curly hair), and live near the Veracruz coast. Sincerely, an actual Mexican.

タピアエドガー btw, if you're confused, the composition of the Mexican race is Native Americans, and Native Europeans _(as Europe is being flooded with foreigners, Ill specify)_ . The normal Mexican is both American and European blood, but having only one or the other is also common. The only exceptions are people who can immigrate, and not stand out. This would include Christian Arabs, Jews, and other Hispanics(e.g. Colombians, Argentines, Salvadorans, etc.).

In Australia 3 people have died from a bat scratch or being bitten by one b/c bats can carry a form of the rabies virus, Australia's rabies virus strain has the same symptoms & the same ending - death, If anyone comes in contact with a bat/ flying fox get vaccinated for rabies before symptoms appear b/c after the symptoms appear there is nothing Doctors can do. The most recent death was an 8 yr old little boy, two months after a bat scratched him on the arm in Queensland in 2013. R.I.P Lincoln Flynn.

One very hot summer in Delaware, our family left open our sliding glass door to cool down because it was 80 degrees outside and it was 92 inside. (six-year-old kids are goobers.) i saw our back porch door was open and i went to close it but was too caught up in a new episode of a cartoon i liked. A bat flew in and then i did a stupid dance then screamed and sprinted back to my room and ran into the door, opened it, then went to play on my computer to forget about it. Two minuets later i hear my dad shout "Good god! another damn bat?!" and then i come out and run up to him and say "wadda' you gonna do?" and he said "go get the skimmer." (we have pool and that's what the skimmer's for.) so i went and got it and my dad showed me how to net him/her. i was screaming not in terror but, because i thought it was cuter than my puppy bulldog i got the day before as a gift because my very best friends moved away.later we let the bat back outside so he/she could go about his/her business. You did that wrong. You're supposed to let them leave on their own by finding all of the entrances and creating an exit that doesn't allow reentry. You're never supposed to wake a bat up either. Also, you're only supposed to do it at certain times of the year because you don't want to risk that the bat is leaving behind pups that will starve without their mother. Google it. You'll find a lot of information and how to do it so if you ever find others, you'll know.

We get a bunch of them during a certain time of year that can be seen flying overhead through the trees during the early afternoon. I think they're fruit bats, but they never come low or close enough to the ground to be able to see them up close. Still precious, I love the little creatures.

I have always liked bats. I don't know why but they are so cute too me. I go into bat caves and love every second of them flying around. It's a really surreal experience. They are no danger to us aside from a small bite, its all just phobia.

Story Time! I once had a bat hang from my front screen door in the middle of the day. It wasn't foaming from the mouth or anything- it stayed there for a long time and even peed on the door. When my family and I came home we had to come in through the back door... It actually really scared me, i'm terrified of rabies but i knew that it had to bite me. it ended up flying off. We have two dogs that bark at a squirrel but they didn't bark at the bat. kind of strange..

Well Bats vary rarely get Rabies and even when they do, it normally kills them quickly, so they dont really get much of a chance at spreading it, tho you do still wanna be careful if you decide to handle a bat

Bruh, in second grade, my teacher showed this video in class! When the guy was spreading the bats wings, the kid next to me could not stop screeching like a banshee to the whole class that he was going to tear its wing off. I went deaf for 15 minutes 😂😂😂😂😂

im sure there are plenty of animal enthusiasts that i haven't seen since steve irwin. but this guy is a natural and can easily fill in the empty void of our beloved steve irwin. coyote just has that energy, charisma, respect, and dare-devil side that makes you want to learn and watch more.

I think bats get a bad reputation, yes they aren't the greatest looking animals, but they are still mammals and rarely pose a threat.

GoldenJokered you are absolutely right...bats are great pest control eating all sorts of flying insects! Always more afraid of you than you should be of them... doing another episode on the western pipistrelle bat this summer...stay tuned if you like bats!

Coyote Peterson well bats are the main carer to animals with rabies, and the second or third biggest career to humans if i rember right! But yea, people are over reaction when it comes to bats! Maybe they watched too much batman idk.

Oscar koksvik johansson i believe it all depends on the species of bat... and human bat interaction is pretty low... I think people are more afraid of them than they need to be :)
