Catching Big Fish in Your Swimming Pool - Envirotube 

Hi, I converted my swimming pool to a pond and am now in the process of adding an aquaponic system, i have about 30 Jade perch around 180mm long and also about 15 goldfish similar length but wait there is more numerous gudgeons and snails the pond is 70% covered with lilies and duckweed, the pool holds about 50000 L of water. I also have a fountain in the deep end of the pond and a 3 tier waterfall on the shallow end I have 8 half drums cut longways (4 drums ) that I want to use for the aquaponics, can you help with some sort of balance between fish, water cycle in the grow beds and any other help you can offer as i am a complete novice in this are but am determined to succeed . that is where im heading, i have a 30x14 foot polytunnel at the moment, when i get land i plan on making something very similar on a slightly larger scale to fully be self-sustaining. love it nice one guys everyone should do the same

Quite literally like shooting fish in a barrel. Really no different from fishing at a fish hatchery. Count me unimpressed.
