@@soto9128 it does have its flaws and it’s definitely not the greatest of them all, but it is very enjoyable and it gave us the city, so what’s not to like!!
@@soto9128 City Folk is my personal favorite. It's probably the most "vanilla" AC game, not having the oddness (That I do like) of the originals, but also not running at 15 FPS on a small screen like WW, and you're not the mayor or on an island (Featuring major gameplay changes) like in NL and NH respectively
@@lotus630 It depends on what the villager is and how many NMTs you have some villagers like a cat may take forever while a cow may be easier. It also depends if you have their amiibo or not.
i like in this video how you kept a lot of the stream commentary, because it’s just you discussing something completely random in every clip before catching the fish
At this point whenever you’re having trouble catching a fish, you should say something controversial out of context, because then the universe will make you catch the fish so you have to show those lines to YT lol
When I started watching Dagnel, everyone in the comments was talking about watching the chat being their favorite part and I didn't understand how. Now I agree.
Challenge Idea: how long it takes to get golden roses in every animal crossing game 👀 (Or every flower in every animal crossing game if you wanna push to the extreme)
I’m going to be honest; when I saw that this was the challenge, I wasn’t excited to watch it because fishing is probably the least fun activity in this game. Watching a whole hour of Dagnel fishing seemed boring (no offense to him because he’s very talented at turning mundane things into something enjoyable to watch,) HOWEVER although flower breeding is probably ten times more tedious, I would watch this challenge SO fast because for some reason Dag’s flower vids are SO entertaining 😂 So I hope he does this! Maybe after the bug catching one
Challenge: get an all-cat island in the least amount of time possible. Rules: You have to have only cats as villagers on your island. Try to do in the least amount of time possible. Game: New Horizons You can use villager hunts and Nookazon to get them. I hope you'll pick this and have fun!
Videos idea: Doing an ACNH challenge, then doing the equivalent in Stardew Valley. Then (maybe) comparing the challenges in terms of difficulty, length, and enjoyment. Examples: Eat/drink all food recipes Acquiring 999 fiber/weed clumps Tools fully upgraded Catching all fish (you've done this in AC multiple times, so maybe not) Upgrading your house fully ( ACNH Storage upgrades = SDV cellar, require both or neither) Meeting a mouse (SDV is hat mouse, ACNH starting villagers don't count) Best friends with a villager ( In SDV it is 10 hearts)
this idea is so cool! i havent played much stardew, so i would be curious to see how things compare. i think it could serve as a really good frame of reference for any AC players looking to get into stardew (like me lol)

The fish making that weird little floppy noise in the original Animal Crossing game just killed me. Dagnel caught the bass and I was trying to figure out what the weird noise was, and just *broke down* laughing when I figured it out. IDK why, it's just hilarious sounding to me for some reason.
I really love these videos/challenges, especially when you include other games from the series (because GC AC was my first one) so I think it would be cool to see how long it takes to get an S/best possible ranking from the HHA in every AC game!
Finally, another video long enough for me to fall asleep to, yes i have actually watched the other vids too, its just calming enough for me to sleep to and it helps alot

Ohhhh my god. When you did the New horizons section, you had Bam and Renee, which were my beggining villagers, and you also got a split middle river island, which is also my island! That is insane!
These two AC challenges where you play every AC game are my absolute favorite of your series! I have watched them countless times and just started watching the whole stream. Aside from the amazing dedication to do a challenge like this, my favourite part of these videos is always the little snippets of completely random and frankly inappropriate conversation Dagnel is having with the chat that is given no context whatsoever
When I played wild world as a kid my friend told me there was a shark you could only catch on New Years during the fireworks. Funnily enough when I checked there actually was a shark so I’ve believed it to this day.
Also super excited the unedited streams are coming to your second channel! Often I can’t catch the streams, but I love to watch them later and much prefer RU-vid’s format over twitch.
i completely forgot about fish despawning with each camera pan. this video unlocked memories of me sitting at my lake with my line cast for 5-10 minutes praying for the fish to come closer. gamecube animal crossing was so cruel 😔💔
Try getting a 5 star island by cramming all buildings super close to each other (museum, shops, villager homes) and cramming trees in one area and cramming decorations in one area
I love your content, and I especially enjoy when you go back to older games-- Of course, that's not to say your New Horizons content isn't amazing! Those older games, especially the Gamecube titles, hold a special place in my heart. I'm not sure if you know this, but at 2:50 you can use L to grab an item without showing the other options such as drop. I also think you can just move UP on the top row to go to your character if you have a tool in the cursor

I resent when he was talking about kids not saving and consequently being scared by resetti, I was clumsy as a kid and constantly dropped my ds and it would freeze or the gamecard would pop out and resetti would attack me when I didn't even do anything on purpose.
I did but not as a challenge so I quite literally just caught one or two every now and then and eventually had all. I don't have the stamina to do this with any kind of speed.
For a video idea you could see how fast you can get the villager photos of all of your original 10 and then see how fast you can force them all to move out. Or rather just seeing how fast you can replace your starting ten instead of doing both.
