Use Power Pro American made (be careful) braided 20 pound test. Never breaks and never slips. Just saying.

I’m not a big braid guy. I usually want to use fluorocarbon in the ponds I fish. I’m a big believer in the pressure bass being line shy. I would love to be casting with braid all of the time though!

I use 6 feet of 10 pound floral tied on 20 pound braid. Works great

I had a great Thanksgiving! I’m going to try to be out there a lot while it isn’t too cold. This is my favorite time of year to bass fish the ponds

Nice fish. There are good ones in there. I have yet to catch anything on a hybrid hunter. The only thing I've been catching them on consistently is wacky. Thanksgiving day I caught 4 for over 13#. I would rather catch them on a crank but I'll take whatever works. I appreciate what you do.

Nice video! I fish some lakes and ponds that are pretty small in nj (fishing is actually horrible over here its hard to get a 3 pounder). Been hearing everything about this hybrid hunter and people are saying it comes through grass easy and comes off of rocks and wood. Would you use this in place of a squarebill or lipless crankbajt for shallow water? Heard some people say they switched out all their crankbaits for the hybrid hunter i dont think its that good lol. Keep up the videos man!

Bro, the same thing happens to me far too often when using P-Line fluorocarbon. It just snaps for no reason.

@@thesouthwes So guess what happened after I watched your video and commented on it? I went over to Lake Woodlands down here in Houston and got on a really good bite, and boom, my line snapped during a cast. Lost one of my Googan Squad Klutches. Go figure.

Just made an interesting discovery. I subscribed to this vlog yesterday because I wanted to know the LOCATION OF THE VIDEOS. So I spent my $24, clicked on all of the links and nothing. No info available as to the location of the videos. After several different attempts I clicked on the PERKS icon for the forth or fifth time and finally got the following message.
