In which we re-read some of the bits of the Books of Chzo we were introduced to in Trilby's Notes, and check out some more bits of them that Trilby and the Ministry of Occultism have in their possession. We also read some files from the Ministry, all in preparation for continuing and then finally finishing this unique franchise.

The return of Jay's ultimate nemesis: reading! I'm not actually watching this until the morning after the 28th, so happy belated Chzo Day! Come to think of it, there's quite a bit of suspension of disbelief that an alternate dimension pain elemental would be using the modern calendar. Oh well. Wait, A.J. was an agent?! While that's almost definitely a retroactive twist, it's a neat way to add a bit more to his character. Also, in addition to having helped inspire Slenderman, the way these files are written, I wonder if the Chzo Mythos was also an inspiration for the SCP. Also, I looked up q.v. It's one of those Latin abbreviations that you see from time to time, in this case literally translating to "which see." I'm definitely missing something in my life, yes. Still trying to work out just what that something is and how to have it as part of my life, though.
