The ring doesn't do performance cars like this justice. That Caterham does 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and your are topping it out at 140mph but you'd barely tell at times. Great driving, I'll be back later in the year
Great video. I was "with" you in the car and caught my self in streatching my neck to check for The Ring Taxi, in the rear view mirror, he he. But I think you lost it at Adenauer Forst.
I used to work in the same building as McMillan Motorsport who are Caterham Racing specialists. Used to see some awesome cars! Love the things, so much fun.
Fantastic driving and great camera angle. That car is absolutely flying down the track and both you and the car look right at home. I can tell how well balanced the car is too, it doesn’t seem to be sliding all over the place in corners. I can see why they say the 400 series is the sweet spot in the line up. The car has more than enough power to get it if it’s own way but not so much that you feel like you’re about to die, or at least you make it look that way as you look fairly relaxed while behind the wheel.
I was lucky enough to have owned a classic Caterham in the 90's - Kent Crossflow twin Weber Prisoner car. Loved it. Never had the chance to run it on a really fast track but man that little go-kart shredded up the mountain roads and was a monster in autocross.
Great video Dale, an almost completely clear Ring, what a luxury, I love watching you wring out a car I think I will call it "drive it by the scruff of the neck" style. :)
Great and I mean great driver! And passenger so relaxed, I would have white knuckles sitting there at that speed! Fantastic video, been in a few Caterhams and they are scary quick (up to about 120)!😎🇦🇺👌
Great vid, agree with Gert, it was like I was driving! I wish ! My Caterham is only 125 BHP , so would be slow on the long fast sections.Which model were you driving? Looked like the 310, but interested to know? Hope to drive the Ring one day
