It's time for a few small upgrades on the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado Cateye NBS Regular Cab. When I bought this I knew it would be dependable and we could dress it up a little at a time. I have decided to take a different approach with this one. I want to use mostly used parts and see how we can make it look. Some items we will not be able to buy used but for the most part I am going to search for used stuff. In this video we install a new billet bowtie, short antenna and glass from a donor vehicle. I also install new speakers in the doors. I show you how to remove the side glass in a silverado or sierra. The process to replace the door glass is not hard. If you have a 10mm socket and a helper, it can be done in less time than removing the door panel takes. I will say I may have to remove the window tint because without the back window done, your eyes can't adjust which makes it hard to see. For the door speakers I installed some Memphis speakers out of my green Sierra with new baffles to protect the speakers and metra mounting rings. The rings make installing speakers in a silverado or sierra a breeze. The baffles increase the output and also protect the speakers from moisture in the door. The final thing is the short antenna. I think I have one on every single vehicle in my fleet. LOL Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......
