I'd order one of those poles for carp but the carp in my lake run 15 pounds all the way to 55+ and I don't feel like breaking more rods lol.

They can handle it. They're literally made for carp fishing. They also come with replacement tip sections.

Mr hood where is a good spot for bank fishing on lake ponchartrain? In the south shore? I been to bonabel boat launch that place stinks! any spots you recommend for soft plastic to catch reds?
