He was a really funny guy. It almost makes me mad that when he was on talk shows people didn't humor him enough. There's sort of this subtle feeling like they treated him like he was an idiot or weirdo (which I don't think he was. He was just a really passionate/energetic guy). He was so natural in his humor. Like he wasn't even trying to be funny half the time, but he was so honest and unfiltered when telling his stories that it was hilarious.
MaxCovington543 simply because he stole the show whenever hes on camera. the only way leno can compensate and get on his level is by mocking his accent and attributes. RIP IRWIN
I seriously could not agree more with this comment. I felt that with the audiences too and it sucks. I guess people realize what a true gem he was when he passed away which is so unfortunate.
Steve didn't mind it. He actually liked the attention, but no for himself. If he could get people interested in wild animals, or get them to think an 8 ft Alligator is worth saving or caring about, then he felt successful. He was there for the animals. And if it meant being goofy or appearing dumb, he did it!
You've got reason. He brought compassion for animals to the world forum, just by the strength of his personality. Here in the States, we would call him an incredible dude.
Apparently he had a bit of dopamine in his mind and was a natural rule breaker and loved hanging around with dangerous animals, like he was proving something to everybody.
Story time. I was a student pilot at the time at Maroochydore near Australia Zoo and an instructor told me the day after he died that he had flown Steve, Terri, Bindi and a very young Bob back from a shoot in one of our Cessnas when Steve had to change Bobs nappy (diaper?). Apparently everyone was retching from the smell in such a small place but in between suppressing vomiting Steve kept the pilot laughing so hard he had to slow the plane right down to open the windows of the 206 so he could breath while Steve did his croc fighting routine while changing a dirty nappy at 6000ft in a Cessna on a hot day. Apparently it was hilarious in a pretty shitty circumstance.
Steve is sitting with one one of the hottest chicks on this planet just next to him and he has no time to waste on talking or looking at CZJ. The only thing that seems to interest him is his wonderfull world of Animals and Wild life. Salute Sir, This Earth misses you.
I love steve... to this day, I still have a hard time watching his show or interviews without tearing up :-( he is my hero and it broke my heart when he died.
Poor Cathrine!! Her face was priceless. It's great that Steve and Terri were able to get a boy before he died. Robert is adorable. Steve would be very proud.
CZJ is gorgeous but to be honest if i was given a choice to meet both i would first go shake hand with my hero and whom i respected and loved from the bottom of my heart, Steve Irwin and then i would go to CZJ. Not that she isn't good or anything but when its Steve i would forget about my dicks desires and instead just get engulfed in Steves enthusiasm and dedication and that huge aura of enthusiasms.
Yeah feelings of inspiration and respect toward someone tend to dull even the strongest desire of the dick, I know if I had a choice to meet either its an easy choice to who I would pick.
R.I.P. Steve Irwin Catherine-Zeta Jones got to meet him on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno but that was his last interview before he had died in Australia would never be the same without him like the rest of his friends and family still in his animal team He’ll always be missed
I remember all the jokes and shit about this dude dying, but come on.... This guy was fucking joy to watch and person who sincerely loved life, I mean loved it as much as anyone who handles 17 foot dinosaurs.....but really.....this guy was a badass.
They had Steve Irwin and Sonic Youth in one show? How did it not explode from awesomeness... RIP Steve, you made the world a better place, you're my hero and we miss you.
He was the man he was just a passionate Aussie bloke that was from the Bush and outback and he made it to every household around the world. Would love to have sat and had a beer with him at the pub. He would have had stories for days. Rest In Peace ya legend.
catherine seems SO high maintenance in this video lol. and by the way, it probably wasn't difficult at all for steve to keep'em cool. they are STEEL after all.
Hahaha, this is true xD but, he did it with love. Anyone who hands-on deals with animals is guaranteed to get a bit of bad blood back from them, and maybe lose a bit of his own. But Steve's photogenic-ness with animals definitely extended his passion to lots of other people, who will go on to continue his work... me included. :D
Every place is the place for the argument when the mental health of children is on the line. And I agree, the truth isn't good enough for many people, but that doesn't mean you have to become superstitious. Some of us just stick to the truth, some progress with it and others go mad.
I'm pretty sure, if I were to read most of the comments, I would be giving A LOT of, "👍up's" So my comment is, " whatever they all said😊. He was the best. Real hard still, to accept his passing.
There was 22 feet and 21 feet that was caught in the Philippines and Indonesia sadly they were caught a year after Steve died. It would've been his greatest day ever especially the 21 footer who is old as fuck had cataract in his eyes and full of battle scars. The original plan was to air lift him to Australia since there was no available facilities to care for it especially how old it was and even contacted Steve Irwin's zoo to keep it but sadly it was decided not to for it is too old and the long flight could endanger it more. After that there were more investigation to find it's female mate and theory that it is even bigger. If Irwin was still alive back then he would head that expedition in a heart beat.
I would have to agree, although i don't know if this is the place for an argument. I came to the conclusion that some people need religion because they have an overwhelming fear of death, and need some kind of way to cope with the fact that everyone dies.
