That's the truest of true comment that was ever commented.. Also i remember back in the day he nd his wife was trying to catch a crocodile and said we rather die than use any kind of dangerous stuff /medication on these beautiful animals.. He was more human than anyone I've seen or known and his son is just as precious if not more.
cosmo_rebeljdal97 Steve: aw ay there little one Stingray: Steve? I’m so sorry i killed you, i got frightened Steve: aw that’s alright little one. I still love you
I thought something like that a few weeks ago (I don't remember why I was thinking of Steve and how he died)... He truly was a great great man and life on Earth truly was a little nicer while he was around. Sweet to see his family continue the good work!
I think anyone that gets into this field only do it because they love it because there's no big money or fame in this field just pure passion, which i really respect
Ryan Boucher Yes! I just had to see his Dad again, It is amazing how much Robert looks like his father, I'm sure Steve Irwin would be so proud of him and Bindi.

One of my favorite quotes of Steves: "Crocodiles are easy. They try to kill and eat you. People are harder. Sometimes they pretend to be your friend first.”
Jason Spaulding most those animals were literally going to be killed if he didn’t relocate them. Also educating people on different types of animals to convince them to save the environment is a valuable asset you bitch
TheINfinityWarden 775 crazy how somebody who literally hasn’t done more than likely shit in there pathetic life can try and bad mouth a guy who was known for helping and saving animals fuck off and get out of the basement crazy world out there
Say what you like about this man, but there's no question he loved animals. Not to mention he's one of the people who contributed to my fascination with wildlife and conservation
+Mikhail Kalashnikov He had such a great sense of humour too. I will always admire how he could do such important work, and take his job so seriously, and still be able to joke about it.
Not quite the way I would put it, or what I was referring to..... IMPORTANT WORK: $ 4 conservation + $ 4 better life 4 captive animals + getting ppl 2 care = hit tv show SENSE OF HUMOUR: Getting bit by a bearded dragon, then laughing about it, or starring in a commercial where he tackles a man dressed as a kangaroo, pretending to think it's a real kangaroo.
STEVE IRWIN HARASSED ANIMALS AS THEY DESPERATELY TRIED TO GET AWAY FROM HIM TO MAKE HIMSELF RICH AND FAMOUS. He was even charged by the Queensland state police for it. Finally while attacking a sting ray from behind like a fool Steve died leaving his young children to grow up fatherless. He deserves to be forgotten.
I would imagine Steve's accent is the same as a Southern Accent is in the US or a Northern accent is here in the UK. He's from the ''Bush" so I imagine his accent is more common to folk who have grown up in rural area's in Australia.
Nah, i'm just messing with ya. I'm not sure if it's actually a specified accent. It is sort of a Broad Australian accent. Like being more specific and having a ton of emphasis on the start & finish of a word. It's a lot like a Southern accent of the USA and the cockney's. (prominent Southern London accent, see Michael Caine, Helena Bonham Carter).
An incredible human-being took from us way to soon.. but did more good in his short time on this planet than most people will do in an entire lifetime... we salute you big fella.
lol wut? The guy made a television show about harassing wild animals, just what about that is some great service to humanity? Fuck, humans are stupid. Someone being on TV and piercing into your bubble of awareness of existence doesn't make them some great person who deserves your sympathy or reverence you fucking mindless sheep
Thomas Ellison He also harassed many thousands of them. do you think they're aren't other people out there who spent their lives helping animals? People who aren't wildly famous and successful like him? People who probably did 10,000x more good for them than this scmuck ever did? I'm sure those people really appreciate it when there's an outpouring of grief for this asshole just because he was famous
bob smith The reason he helped so many animals is because of his fame and the fact that he brought awareness to the animals you say that there's probably some other people who have done more without proof of anyone like that he has done so much and when you say he's harassing animals your clearly not seeing the bigger picture which is that while he may have annoyed some animals in his time he did it to show people what the animals are like and why they should be cared for which is why he has had more of an effect than any of these people that no one knows about
person man the only reason you give any shit at all about this guy is because he was famous. All the alleged good you think he did is completely irrelevant. You're a mindless little sheep who cares about what the magic picture box tells you to with absolutely no ability to contextualize it
bob smith how can you deny the good he did he was famous because he was a great person you are either a troll or the dumbest person I've ever spoken to did he do something to you while you were young is that why have all this hatred for someone for no reason
Steve Irwin is probably the most likeable person to ever walk this earth, and he's universally loved. He's done so much for wildlife, and continues to help animals through his wife & children...he left behind one hell of a legacy! Absolutely amazing man💙
When a man makes an impact like he does it doesn’t just last a lifetime, it lasts forever. I know I speak for everyone when I say we miss you Steve Irwin!
Agreed! I grew up with him, The Kratt Brothers and animal documentaries. I'm half way through a degree in environmental science now. I'm teaching my daughter about animals and conservation. She has watched videos of his and I can tell you, truly his legacy lives on
Yea I was about 7 when it happened. Was a pretty sad time for Australia. Two Aussie legends pass away within a week of each other. Rest in peace, Steve. And rest in peace, Brocky
this man brought an enthusiasm and an energy to animal awareness and programming. He encouraged a generation to be interested in wildlife. He IS a legend.
reminds me of the conversation between Robert Irwin and Jimmy Fallon... Jimmy: What are these? Robert: These are legless lizards Jimmy: no they're not, they're snakes Robert: Actually they are legless lizards
I'm just wondering what Conan thought a baby snake looked like 🤔? Yeah nah they look like a miniature kangaroo aye? How about like the mother just bloody smaller 🤯
I remember when he passed away, at our school (Australian) our teachers got us to write out our feelings about his passing as a way of coping and understanding he was gone. He captured the hearts of so many people, and kids. Such a passionate and charismatic man. A great loss.
Conan is fearless, he acts annoyed when Steve puts a snake around him but isn't even fazed while standing next to a 20 feet long anaconda, and never mishandles the animals in any way
That's why i love conan he just takes it in stride, i watched the fallon thing with steves son and fallon just straight up acted like a little girl throughout the entire thing.
Ok but actually snake breeders are using ultrasounds all the time now ;^) and trust me... anytime you see baby snakes in the mum it feels legendary! Yeah... its pretty damn cool!
i absolutely love conan’s reaction to steve. the way he jokes and steve just keeps going. both are such amazing people. it’s awful how steve was taken before he got to see the way he children turned out. i’m sure he’d be beyond proud of bindi and robert. rest easy steve.
Mankind lost a real gentleman, and protector of animals when we lost Steve. I cried when I heard the news. Cried when I watched his memorial. I still miss the hell out of him.
I can still remember the moment when I heard he got killed by an animal. I cried like the whole day, he was one of my heros in my childhood. But for me the fact that he‘s death is caused by an animal makes it easier for me to handle this. Like Paul Walker once said „If one day the speed kills me, do not cry, because I was smiling.“ I think for Steve it‘s kind of the same just with animals.
Conan was fine. And if you did have a point could you be more of a douche bag in expressing it? You’re a typical internet comments person. Overly critical of everything and overreacting to anything.
Caleb I feel like you’re being a little over critical of my opinion. Kinda like typical internet comments person really. Could you be more of a douchebag? Welcome to the club buddy.
oh man every time conan makes one of those "you're going to die" jokes I end tearing so much. Little did he know then that his joke wouldn't age so well. Steve Irwin is one of the very few people who make me cry when I hear about them.
It was a pretty good joke tbh, and joke about someone's death never aged well, unless it was done very well and respectfully Also, it's still romantic how he dies by the animal, and even after death, he still gives a very educational information that stingray is actually venomous and quite dangerous
This is why I love the visual and audio mediums of recording. A literal moment in time, forever sliced out & stored for humanity to witness & experience. It’s beautiful. Well, forever until humanity kills itself off or a random space event does lol. As of it weren’t already bad that we’re on lent time from the SUN...
I am a wicked skeptic when it comes to people who seem to make money for " A Good Cause" I have to say this though.. Steve was an AMAZING , for real and very stand up guy. God Bless his soul and rest in peace hun. I hope that you are getting all of the kindness, caring, respect and love that you gave to all other living creatures of this earth.
mike derocco well, that was pretty harsh. But I would like you to understand this Mike. If he didn't believe in his heart of God .He would never have loved or messed with all of the most dangerous creatures in the world.
you don't need to believe in God to be a love and compassionate human being. People that say stuff like seem like they need a reason to be kind, when in reality kindness comes from within, because you want to make this world a better place.
LMBO!! He is sooo precious!! He is so ADHD like my grandson! I adore him...sorry...past tense. The is is a much sadder and lonely place without this fabulous person....one of a kind...
Honestly, I've never seen much of Steve Irwin before. I was just a kid in middle school when he passed away but based off this video alone, this guy seemed to be one of the friendliest and most passionate people I've ever seen on TV. What a likable guy! May he rest in peace.
I miss him like a family-member.....I used to get up early every morning, as a kid, to watch steve on AP. Such a fatastic human being, and he inspired me to pick up the reptile hobby myself. May he rest in peace :/
Conan always talks over his guests. It's good when the guests are shy or not great at telling stories, but Steve is very animated and interesting and I just wanted to hear what he had to say!! Shut up Conan!
Thank you Steve for all that you've done, I watched you as a kid/teen and grew up to appreciate all animals. All because of you, thank you. Gosh why am I coming to tears as I write this... I wish I could've met you, but I'm so glad your son is carrying on your legacy. Dammit I'm trying so hard not to cry. Thank you Irwin Family!!!!! God bless you
Steve Irwin must have been one of the most universally loved people in human history everybody knew him and nobody disliked him. RIP Steve ya beautiful legend
What a privilege to still be able to see TV shows (including his own shows, of course) that Steve appeared in long after his passing. He was a truly amazing human being and his deep love and enthusiasm for animals has always inspired me. I miss him so much as so many people in the world do as well. I love the dialog between Steve and Conan. It was so amusing and educational. There was never a time I didn't learn something when I watched The Croc Hunter. He had such vast knowledge about animals and helped so many people have less fear and more respect for animals.
