There has never really been much price action around previous halving's if you look at the data, the difference this time its in the middle of a bull run so its being used as a "pumping" hype tool.

I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $20k - $25k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this year

I don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations

The only issue you might have is the fear of missing out, just like everyone else. A good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisors in exploring new market opportunities, but over the past 5years I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $1.5million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure.

that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+

Yes, my asset manager advised I spread further into mutual funds and crypto Etf and boy am I glad I did. The whole idea is: Don’t get too greedy and also to exit at the right time, so generally I do find having an adviser very helpful, because what Avg. Joe really has time to watch and comprehensively analyse the market.

It's funny how I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some made millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides part of my savings to invest for future. Not actually owning the asset. Better be a long term multiyear or decade play to be buying the ETF. Or if you have a huge portfolio. Once my portfolio gets big enough, I will not want to manage it myself and I will be looking for something like an ETF, IRA or Trust to hold and manage my funds. This is the difference. It's mainly for big money and business and a difference in philosophy with the whole "not your keys, not your Bitcoin" type of thing. But to most people this is a pointless debate as there will always be a need for both and once my portfolio is big enough there isn't any way I want to be moving and holding millions of dollars on a ledger or hot wallet.

There has never been an ETF before based on a commodity with a hard capped fixed supply, aka inelastic. With everything else, supply is elastic. For example with gold, if the price goes up enough there are more mines that become viable and more gold enters the supply. Uncharted territory for price discovery

Given the collective BTC ETF is demanding more than 10x the daily mining capacity, what do you think will happen to price (based off historic supply/demand price modelling), over the next 1+ year? Imagine what occurs when the GBTC conversion process ends + the mining halves. So the maths, after halving they will be mining 450 btc per day, current balance in exchanges available to trade is above 1 million btc, etfs are buying a net of aprpx +2k btc per day, do your math, they have bought 200k btc so far net, so grayscale sales are discounted already from the 200k net btc holding in 3 months, No sure what will happen when grayscale stop selling and exchanges run out of that million btc, the 450 per day won't be enough apparently, And we are not talking about retail buys nor the banks buying yet

Will it continue? 96% has been minted and in owners accounts. 4 % is left over the next 50 years with the supply being cut in half in April. Buy and hold some and don’t worry about the volatility.
