Protestantism never interested me (thank goodness), but Jesus loved his mother (I don't think he asked other people to care for another person by name, only his mother, once he rose). If Jesus loved his mother that much, how can one say they don't love Mary with all their heart? By not loving Mary, one says they don't care to follow Jesus.

Mary, a finite being, carried inside her The Infinite Being. How is it possibe that Infinity can be enclosed in a finite ? Well, that is Mary, The Blessed Virgin, The Immaculate Conception, Ark of the Convenant, House of Gold, Gate of Heaven, and Advocata Nostra. She is the gate of heaven because no one gets in except through Her and as Advoca Nostra, we catholics have a most powerful advocate (defence lawyer) in Heaven. For where there is a judgement, there must be a prosecutor. And that prosecutor and judge is God Himself. But who is your defence lawyer ? If you are a catholic, who avoids evil, frequents the sacraments and pray the rosary daily, then your defence lawyer is non other Mary, Mother of the Divine Judge. Would the Jesus deny His Mother's requests? What kind of son would deny a request from his own mother. If you are a protestant, then you have no defence lawyer. You are on your own. And good luck with that when the prosecutor is God Himself, for whom nothing can be hidden and Who can neither decieve nor be deceived. Let that sink into your protestant head.

Not sure why non-catholics get upset because we venerate the Blessed Virgin Mary, pray to Saints. These non-catholics have been lied to for years by men ahead of their church. Tell them not to worry about us Catholics. God will do the judging, people will be surprised to see who gets into heaven and who doesn't. I will be shocked if I get in. 🙂

If we take what the church says and compare to see if those things are in the bible, not just by matching letters but the essential truths then we ought to honor her. The bible says we will call her blessed. who else does the bible say that about? Nobody. Not even Jesus. I do not get it. Is it bad reformers? bad post reformers? Thanks for yet another excellent video. In the Spring semester of 1977, I read an account of Martin Luther's death. (Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the book nor, its author.) Knowing he was dying, he prayed a full 15 decades of the rosary. I. Subsequent studies of his Works, Luther openly defended Our Lady and insisted on keeping her feast days. After his death, his followers fell into Calvin's errors. These facts are not taught in the Lutheran colleges and seminaries although, they are in the libraries for research. Doing one's own research can be particularly challenging for professors. Thanks again for everything. Pax.

Jesus asked us to love one another in John 13:34-35, Jesus told us who are his mother and brothers were in Matthew 12 48-50, The angle said she found favor with god in Luke 1:30 Jesus said Behold your mother in John 19:27, She meets all the Beatitudes in Matthew 5 1-12. Father Daniel, before trying to assume something about what God thinks of the virgin Mary, try to listen what He actually said in the Scriptures about her. In Luke 11:27-28: While He was saying this, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts that nursed you!”. But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”. He does not exalt the virgin above those who hear the Word of God and obey it. Something similar happens in Matthew 12: 49-50: And pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother". Let's note, He went as to label his disciples as His mother and to all others that do the will of the Father in heaven. So if He said that, why to hold on your point? And when you talk about common sense I will try used it. It's clear that God loves us all equally, that's why He came and died for all in the same measure. So, Christ was human but also God, so he loved her mother in the same way He loved anyone else. By nature, we as humans tend to love more those ones who love us, but that was precisely what Christ told us not to do in Luke 6:32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you"? Christ told us not to do distinctions between those ones who love us and hate us. And if we applied common sense, He also didn't make any distinctions between her mother and the rest of us. You also tried to compare that an "immaculate" woman was need to bear Jesus, because if a lay person touched the Ark of Covenant he was supposed to die . However there were many people in the New Testament that touched Jesus directly and didn't die; the woman with bleeding, the blind, the lepers, Peter's wife mother, and they didn't die, but they were healed. Today we believe that the Eucharist is the body of Christ, and I haven't heard of anyone who has died after receiving it. He himself said that He would abide in us. Was that not the same that happen with the virgin Mary? We are living examples that Christ lives in people that have sinned in their lives and are reconciled with Him through confession. So the "immaculate" argument has no basis. And so many Church fathers teached that only Christ was Immaculate; Justin Martyr, Ireneus, Clement of Alexandria, Tertulian, Origen, Basil, Cyril of jerusalem, Saint john Chrysostom, Ambrose, even Aquinas. It's truth that not everything is in the Bible, but it's also truth that preaching something that goes again to what the Bible says is a motif to be cursed as mention in Galatians 1:8-12. Clearly in the Bible Jesus says multiple times that demons would be expelled by "His name". He didn't mention at all Mary's name not any other name. Come to think about it, it would be in the demon's best interests to encourage exorcists and catholics to believe that any other name can be capable of doing that during an exorcism.

Jesus himself spoke to his Mother and loved her very, very much. Jesus was not an “idolater” he simply loved His Holy Mother Mary. If someone really loves Jesus, he has to do like Jesus showed to us : love and talk to Our Holy Mother Mary!

These are de fide, ex cathedra dogmas of Faith. They are the measure. Every teachiing on salvation must conform to them. As Vatican I defined “definitions are by their very nature irreformable.” It is a terrible sin against charity (and truth) to give an impression, nevermind direct assurance, that non-Catholics can be saved without converting. Everyone gets the help of grace to see the true Faith and seek baptism. That is clear from scripture. Saint Alphonsus was saying nothing really new in bringing forth TRUE devotion to Mary, and perseverance therein, as a sign of salvation. Anyone who refuses to believe in Our Lady’s defined titles, and refuses to say the angelic prayer the Hail Mary cannot be saved in that state.
Jesus does not want us to believe on and receive him, but rather his words and what he did, which is God’s will and His work: Jesus cried and said “He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me” (John 12:44). Why did Jesus cry this out? It is because the words he spoke were not his own, but the Father’s. In Mark 9:37, Jesus again says “whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.” We are to receive and believe that Jesus’ words and what he did are true and will lead us to God the Father. We must believe that whatever Jesus tells us is the way, truth, and life that leads us to the Father (John 14:6) because his words and actions came forth from the Father. In John 12:49-50 and John 8:28, Jesus tells us that he *_ONLY_* speaks what the Father commands him to speak; yet people never read these verses but insistently use John 1:1-3 with no knowledge or revelation from the Holy Spirit. Most will go to hell simply for rejecting that Jesus came forth and out from God (John 16:27). For it is written that whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is *born of God:* and every one that loveth him that begat [God the Father] loveth him *_also_* that is begotten of him [Jesus] (1 John 5:1).
Jesus of Nazareth, Mary, Joseph etc…were 100% humans just like you or me BUT they represent and ARE each and everyone a different aspect of the Divine in the flesh: just like…you or me, if you could just REALISE it. In particular Mary, the mother of Christ is a very particular woman…but it needs YOU, individually, to understand (or not, no problem….).
