I’ve had the large pout for awhile. It’s a good deal for an lt, especially if you want to try aeb steel sometime. Mine also came with the pouch and not the sheath. Good way to save a few bucks for kitchen use.
I own a lot of LT Wright knives, but they are all in A2 and 3V. I was thinking about getting one in AEBL , but I have no experience with that steel. The only stainless knife I have is a Benchmade Griptilian in CPM S30v. What do you think of LT Wright’s AEBL? Is it a good choice for stainless steel?
Thanks Larry for this very practical and clear presentation on how to process cattail stalks . I've known about this edible plant for a while but didn't really understand the specifics enough to try it myself . I do now , though ! The LTW knife seems well designed for kitchen use . Enjoying your channel . ATB
Love wood soreal. Really does taste like green apple. Stuff grows in front of my door and tries to come in the house so every month or so I just eat it all. Lol.
Very undervalued as a food scource it’s a provider all year round, the best parts are the new root shoots and the base of the stalk and leaves “Cossack Asparagus “.I like them fresh chopped and added to salads in the spring 👍
Hey Larry, try pickling your cattail with regular pickling mix add some onion and garlic! I did it this year and me and the kids finished off an entire gallon it two days!
Welcome home Mr. Roberts! Hope you won on Alone. We love ya no matter what bro. That recipe looks really delicious. Can almost taste it right now. We are definitely gonna try it. QST and family. : )
That looked great ! Love cat tail I don't eat a lot of wild editables but they are kept favorite and the sorrel too for just a little spice ! Wow your washing machine was loud ! Lol man he was messing with you bad lmao ! Take care brother lol
Excellent video, Larry, thanks. I've never seen a dog drink that long. About 5 seconds is as long as our Australian Cattle Dog drinks, and that's when she's really thirsty..LOL. Love that pipe!
This video had me smiling from ear to ear. I love wild edibles. Just wish i would use them more than i do. Awesome video. Loved the dog. Heck if you wouldn't have said anything i would have thought it was you. Lol
Larry , you need to get in touch with Nordsmith knives and try his Canteen knife. The LTWK crew make it and it's a great one tool knife for the camp kitchen.
I saw that it was precooked brother. You should know my passion for bacon. lol Toasting bread for a sandwich elevates it to new levels. Highly recommended.
Those kitchen knives are not good for kitchen tasks. You can't even pinch handle comfortably like chefs do. You can't even chop with due to not a full length grind. You just use the end of the knife. Might as well just use the bushcraft knife.
