I've always looked up to Travis Ryan and when I finally got to meet him he was one of the coolest and nicest guys.n A lot of metal musicians aren't full of themselves and it makes the genre that much greater.

So true about fanbases and everything. The reason Cattle decapitation have gotten this far is because they stick to great solid music. Saw them live last night and bought monolith of inhumanity. such an awesome record. Bands like this make me smile. \m/

When they were talking about the downloading and shit, and liking "Stuff". I agree. Hence why I bought "the Harvest Floor" CD & "I Decapitate" tee shirt in Detroit when they opened for Whitechapel & Job For A Cowboy. Cattle Decap. owned that show as far as I'm concerned. Can't wait to hear some new material from these guys!

Actually, the original Cattle guitarist (Human Jerky and Homovore era) left to play drums in the Locust in 2001 and Dave Astor (Pathology) left the Locust in 2000 to play in Cattle exclusively. Astor was asked to leave Cattle in 2003.

I love Cattle but I don't get that whole tangent about computers? Being able to compose music in an apartment and on the road is pretty cool, especially when you can't afford a rehearsal space.

If you're a band and go spend tens of thousands of $ on studio sessions to get a sound that someone at home with a lap top can get with a few clicks, that's your problem.
