@@JerrySkinner1943 HI MR SKINNER!!! I CANT REMEMBER IF YOU'VE EVER DONE A STORY ON MAE WEST!!! IF NOT, WOULD YOU PLEASE??? PEACE AND BLESSINGS!!! 🙇🏾♀️🙇🏾♀️🙇🏾♀️💝💝💝🕊🕊🕊
@@JerrySkinner1943HELLO MR. SKINNER, REQUEST: 📼🎥📺📹: LONG BIOGRAPHY OF KENNETH TOBEY (ACTOR) LONG BIOGRAPHY OF BILL SHEEHAN (SUNSET BOULEVARD'S ACTOR) AND SIMON OAKLAND (ACTOR).
Thanks Jerry, corruption in the early days, I'd say. What a shame that greedy people in the past did actually get away with murder. Another brilliant documentary by yourself Jerry. Keep up the great work that you do. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Thank you for this video. Ella would have been age peers of my great-grandparents. My maternal grandfather’s mother’s given name was Ellen, but everyone called her Ella.
It's a good day when I see Jerry in my notifications! Excellent story, Jerry! It certainly highlights the old adage "history repeats itself." This particular type of "history" continues to "repeat itself" on a prodigious scale in this country... on a daily basis.
I 💕 seeing a notification from Jerry Skinner! I’m so excited to start this video. Thanks Jerry, I appreciate all the work you put into making your min bio-doc videos. 🤗
What a brave woman Ella has been! I am very impressed by her story. Mr. Skinner, thank you so much for dedicating a documentary to Ella 💖. I really appreciate a lot your documentaries. They are very informative and simply wonderful.
Jerry , this like your other video's is AWESOME thank you , as far as I can see the only thing wrong with your video's is THERE AIN'T ENOUGH OF THEM !!!!! THANK you Frank from montana......
Very sad story! There are numerous western movies that play out this same type of theme, but instead of exaggerating the issue at times, it's actually far worse what they did to Kate and her husband. Well done, Jerry. We always learn new things about different people's lives.
Thank you so much Jerry, always makes my day to wake up and see a new documentary from you. I thought there was a movie made of Cattle Kate a while back, but can’t remember the name.maybe was on the History Channel. This was awesom, thanks again and PLEASE keep em coming. Augie and Jill Blase, Winter Springs , Florida
Hello Jerry Skinner from West Michigan. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your extremely interesting “history lessons” sir!! Always enjoy listening to them. Keep up the good work!!
I live in Casper and fix things at the Murphy Ranch. It is very close to where this went down. It is a tragedy we still talk about. Thanks for covering this.
Thank you RU-vid. After watching this video I have finally figured out why when young so many men would act shocked and a bit irritated when finding out that my favorite music genre is not, "Country and Western." Or when confiding in me that he wants to be a farmer instead just like some of my uncles. Or when telling me, "You look like a woman who would make a perfect farm wife" while both of us are living in the city. I ended up once on stage just outside of the city called Pincher Creek once getting paid an honorarium to act the part of Doris Day while singing and then during another short musical theatre like short play in a series of short plays during a presentation in that museum once a long time ago. Is that why some man just 2 days ago mentioned the phrase "Pinching Creek" while his common law wife that day was saying the phrase "Schitts Creek" too instead? Who knows. All I know is that going to the same building to get your income tax filed for free and where all the entertainment you want week by week is for free during which time someone from the same building elsewhere might show up unexpected with their new flame to ask, "My girl friend here is only age 16 is that okay with you"? Free entertainment only because you are a senior citizen too might be a little problematic no matter what nation you were born in. Are all big cities in North America becoming NEw Yorked or what?
I think that lynching was the fuel that started the johnson county war, correct me if I'm wrong. I like all of your documentaries, so much history and thank you for them
I been to Wyoming before. I can't understand with the wind how any Cowboy could keep a hat on long at all without it be miles away. Or when I was there wind was wicked.
Thank You Jerry for remembering a great woman. Bad greedy people still walk amongst us, thankfully it's not easy to "get away with it". Always interesting stories. Greetings to you Jerry...Elizabeth down in Texas.
John Bothwell reminded me of Yellowstone program. The Cattlemen’s Association rich ranchers so evil but they got away with it. When they wanted land or power, they did whatever they wanted to do to get their way. Poor Ella and Averill.
Amen. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Hey Jerry ever thought about doing a video on how some of these places got their names. The literate of the past were much better educated than people are today especially when it comes to Biblical and mythological studies. All one has to do is look at the very early monikers for baseball teams like the Zephyrs. Who the hell knows what that is and I has to look it up. Anyway look at all the old world names especially in the southern US and I doubt very much that they were chosen on a whim. Why Nashville, why Rome (Washington DC), Memphis, Hollywood, etc.
@2 Corinthians 4:7-11 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 WOULD SUM IT UP!!! YOU SAID A MOUTH FULL OF TRUTH!!! A'MEN AND GLORY TO OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, THE CREATOR OF ALL BREATHING THINGS!!! 🙇🏾♀️🙇🏾♀️🙇🏾♀️💝💝💝🕊🕊🕊🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯
@Corinthians- the Bible is a total myth from one end to the other. Not one person in the main narrative has been found by archeology to have historically existed, and that includes Jesus. Not one person it is all astrological theology. So yes, my statement stands. You are the Adam, you are the Christ, sacrifice your Jesus on the Cross of Life to experience the Kingdom of Heaven within. Not one passage in the Bible tells you to read it as literal history, and the whole world shall be deceived, yes unto believing in a graven image created by Rome. Instead of reading the Bible literally take the instructions given in the Parable of the Sowers Seed and apply it to the entire Bible.
@Corinthians- Babylon the Great wrote your Bible then after creating the literal Jesus voted on the historical existence of your Jesus and then he became God. Fact of history read the Council of Nicene. The real Christians were the Gnostics who were murdered by Rome. The passage on yeast and the leaven is pure Gnosis.
As it was, so will it be. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, never goes out of style. Meaning...KNOW your enemies. A snake will always strike at ya.
One of the hundreds of stories like it l suspect. The "cattlemen's associations" were rough, land pirates for sure. This type of conflict is the same template that led to the "Lincoln County Wars" and Billy the Kid directly. Also the same business that led Tom Horn to a hangman's rope.
I grew up on black n white t v, westerns, and seventies police movies and shows. Today, no t v. Just online short movies, and hi performance aircraft and auto.......This ,I preffer, to reality of history, which I do study. But it gets depressing very quick. In California, I always wondered why so much is named in Spanish, and where did those gigantic ranches go....Finding out was enough for me.
Oh thee men of the association Who murdered in profits name Absolved by your own You carry on in prosperity Devoid of shame But there remains A shadow on the range The ghost of the cattle thief Whispers her claim
Just because they wanted a better life those men saw them as threats, this is how rich people got richer and the families of these evil men live on money made from the death of innocent people, sad story
