Caucasian Painting Part One!

In todays video we begin painting our caucasian baby using the Jezebel sculpt. We start off by talking about color theory and mixing ratios using our heat set paints. Mind you color language and techniques are universal between lines. It will be up to you to determine your curing or baking time and temp based on your specific paint line you choose to paint with. We’ll start off by neutralizing our kit to give us a beautiful clean canvas to paint with leaving behind a beautiful soft textured look!
Videos will be uploaded each Tuesday of the week through the completion of this series.

I saw where you said use blue, I only have the ultramarine blue, but it doesn’t look like yours, lol

Ultramarine is perfect. Don’t worry if it looks slightly different in the pot. Just make sure the blue you use is a primary and not a pre-mixed color;)

Hello, would you neutralize a baby from bountiful babies, bc this kit has a different color than your?

Great question! Depending on your preferences you may or may not need to neutralize. Think of the vinyl color (tonal value) as your undertone. Example- pink, peachy, rosy.. tone. If you like the tone it casts then you would build from there. If you prefer not to have a particular tone as your base then I would neutralize. Just remember color can always be corrected. So if you end up not liking a particular color that is created, correct it. Simply do light layers of texture until you achieve the color your looking for;) Thanks for watching and happy painting my friend! 😁
