I've commented elsewhere on other videos. My friend who I go exploring with (we are both in our 60s) created a self=published book that he takes when we go out to old ranch houses here in western Canada. In the event someone stops us, we explain that we are taking photos for history sake - preserving images. And that often we find out some history of a place before exploring. People go from uptight to friendly. If you are taking photos on your outings, perhaps it would be a good idea create a nice book (hard-bound) to show. I love what you guys are doing. As always, be safe.
I’m super surprised with you being an explorer that you don’t carry a torch in your backpack at all times. I enjoyed the explore anyways. Thank you and a thumbs up from me. 😊✌️
I do understand their point of view being suspicious of a group of youths hanging around because of vandalism. I am by no means saying they should have been so aggressive towards you or swearing. Sad indication of the times we live in really.
You're best to walk on by when this happens. They can't stop you and if they lay a finger on you it's harassment, intimidation or even assault which they can be sued for. Let them call police if they wish to. They're morons. If the place was of such historical value then they should invest money in keeping it secure, fenced-off and protected.
I can't stand this level of authoritarianism. There are ways and means of dealing with people. Shouting and swearing at youngster isn't it. I honestly would have just carried on walking.
Those men are perverts you should of kept the recording on because he's a pervert that's how he takes advantage, picking on young men and pretending to be police, young lads beware they are predetors both men!!
