Not a dull moment in this video. Your friends seem to be just the right kind to go on a camping/fishing trip with. All of you looked like you were having a good time. Very enjoyable.
I was looking forward to the 2nd part, and it was even better than the 1st one. Love the stormy weather! And that wooden cabin by the river, was simply absolutely beautiful!
Hilleberg tarp there--it did it's job overall with a few beads coming in. Amazing how hard a tarp has to perform when under the gun--such an important piece of gear. Have carried various over the decades--now a Slingfin SplitWing or my BD Betalight If I have a group to cover.
@@NorwegianXplorer Oops--looked like a Hilleberg (kinda like my Nallo) Will check that out (always in search of new toys...). Sorry for my ignorance there.
totally narly amigo !!! now thats a storm 😊 ... that wise of u to use the tri-pod !! using nature when possible .... the rocks... is ALWAYS a smart way to go. You really showed ur stuff on that tarp setup amigo !!!!! small but very useful 😊. great job all around plus total vid !!! now dont 4get to reseal seams when u get home😊
Beautiful sun at 13:25. A little two track trail looked like. Snowmobiles? Solar and an outhouse at the cabins. Modern luxuries in the middle of nowhere. Good fishing. good vid
Thanks Sam, it is probably just walking double paths, there wouldnt be any motorized two tracks out here, whatever motorized travel would happen during winter with snowmobiles, since they dont leave permanent marks
Nice rain ASMR Jarl. Looks like the fishing was good. And one of your fellow campers was indeed covered with mosquitoes - how he kept his poise I don't know. I'll bet there were some stories told in the cozy confines of the tarp under the downpour. Fish stories no doubt. Maybe enhanced by the libation. What was that drink? It's good to have shelter from the rain/storm. But then to hike with backpack in it is a challenge. You must have been way north to have so much light at 2 and 3 am.
The first covering looked really cozy. I mean easy for me to say coz I wasn’t n hail but it really was nice. I really enjoyed this video from under ur tarp for I love the sound of the rains n seeing Shane’s smile from Heaven n between the storms took my breath. LOVE ur visits !!! 👍🙏⛺️🏔️🌨️⛈️🌫️☀️☕️❤️‼️ TJ
Greetings Jarl I see it's still raining, you all are so brave to camp in such weather, beautiful scenery the sunrise was amazing, thanks for sharing stay safe
So waiting for part 2 here. Very relaxing. Reminds me of being up at Lake of the Woods Northern Minnesota/Canada when it rained for a solid week. Very young then. Dad went fishing with a guide and we had tons of Walleye.
It is music that you can relax and listen to while lying in bed. You don't have to make any effort or find it difficult to rest or sleep. 🙂 Just lay back and listen. 🎶🎵 Then it's okay to fall asleep. Even if you fall asleep, these words will be engraved into your unconscious mind, and will guide you in the direction of a rich and positive life little by little every day. 🙏🙏 Now is the time to put aside all the miscellaneous things that happened today and return to innocence and peace. 💕💕
Got to love all the elements of Nature… especially the exceptional way you capture them. Y. Where were your friends staying? Didn’t see any tents. Maybe in the Huts?
Chuckling just a little in commiseration here…I don’t think I’ve ever been in a hail storm that didn’t hit me when I wasn’t on a ridge line somewhere. Very smart to use the rock to shield from the brunt of the wind. And SUCH gorgeous scenery…great videography!
Its gonna get crowded under that tarp with the bad weather hitting you , luckily theres some wine to keep moral up 😅 . I think your tarp only needs a seam sealer to bring it as new . Looking forward to see some more storms in the next episode ... thanks !
Wow.. the lightening is ...well.. ELECTRIFYING...😅. But seriously ..it must be really scary with all the light and sound show in the wilderness.. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing experience.. Stay safe ..
Wow, this was an exciting video! You picked a gorgeous spot. It is great to also be able to enjoy these times with friends. I enjoyed watching this video.
👋Hi Norwegian Xplorer, As always, another awesome video to share. I'm a forever loyal follower, so long as you're doing you tube videos!😊 You always brave that harsh weather so well. Very exciting to see. My apologies for my absence of late. I'm preoccupied, planning our Scandinavian trip. It's keeping me/us very busy, between work & family. We'll be in your beautiful global region in Winter & we'll take the train from Oslo to Bergen, then we'll visit Lofoten Islands & a few other wonderful regions. Needless to say, insanely exciting for us here! We are literally counting down the days! We'll also be in Stockholm for a long while, so I'm feeling super thankful for it all. I haven't travelled in many, many years, so this will be truly epic, after years of working full time with wee breaks. Tusen takk for sharing your awesome adventures.🙏
I love your videos Jarl👍 As i have said to you previously that they help me immensely to relax and chill to get in sleep mode for a good nights sleep. Regards Matthew UK 🇬🇧
I always watch your videos and follow you, I love your camping adventures, it would be great if I could be with him, but you and I are geographically far apart, so it seems that it will never be possible, still I am by your side and will be waiting for your videos. ,I myself am a camper in my own country mountainsTacking adventure in mountain forest jungle.
That was an amazing video! I've never seen anything like it. You're so brave to camp in such extreme weather conditions. I'm definitely subscribing to your channel so I can see more of your adventures.
Lovely place, you got some nice sunsets with the clouds. Plenty of good fishing 🎣 to. Loads of rain though, when is your next holiday, I will make sure to book a different week I might get some sun ☀ ❤
What brand tarp is that? Silicon coated? Got to get down low like I did in the coal mines for 50 years. Two new knees this fall. Rebuild, maintenance year. Beautiful okace. Sunsets as well with the threatening skies. Lot of color. Beats sitting in a van, well sometimes. Getting time for a fish fry
Another great adventure, NX! Question: Is that weather typical for where you were and at the time of year it is? Also, at one point you said; "This is the Life". I heartily agree. Cheers!
Thanks Rick, this area gets a lot of the unpredictable weather with rain and thunderstorm when it is warm, like above 20°c/68°f. There are big lakes and big mountains around wide open plains so the weather builds up all these weird patterns, it is quite beauitful actually
Hail HURTS. Which brand of Tarp do you have? I'd be concerned that the rock abrasion may permanently damage the tarp to more than just seam leaks. However, as long as it protects you from Hail was what's MOST important. 14:45; Seems like someone has joined you to fish. 25:15, the duck, I especially enjoy your wildlife footage. to be continued......... Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.
