that one car only did have one left turn signal going in the far left lane which is the passing lane. those cars should have pulled over to the right. that is one dangerous area to be leaving cars on a freeway.

And they aren’t expecting the car to be completely stopped maybe just changing lanes with the one blinker. There isn’t enough time to stop. But when the dodge had its hazards on I was actually surprised people still didn’t stop tho because his worked and were so bright.

Here it is September 15 my kid had a appointment in Pasedena on 13th and a Cement mixer truck cut us off almost cliping side panel because he was pissed at a white truck cutting him and other's off while speeding. Back in my 20s and early 30s I was always driving at 10-15mph over the speed limit, also doing 80 - 90mph on highways if I was in a group of fast people in the left lane. I got my fair share of speeding tickets during this time. I would say within the last few years I matured a bit and realized it's actually much more relaxing to just do the speed limit on highways, and keep right except to pass. Doesn't change ETA much unless on very long 100+ mile trips. You have these people speeding like crazy on I-95 in Philly on a 10 mile trip, which might save them 10 - 20 seconds on their entire trip.

Also, going close to the speed limit saves gas!

mafiahalo93 how do you suggest moving a vehicle that weighs over a ton across the road when it’s disabled and the driver is probably injured as well? So you want someone to push their busted up car across what is obviously a very dangerous road way. The person should have gotten to safety leaving the vehicle. If you cannot move your vehicle, that’s what a tow truck is for and will be called on scene. People are not paying attention to what is in front of them, you are able to see a car in the road if you aren’t texting or doing something other than driving. The only real prevention of post accident crashes is having the roadway managed by law enforcement allowing EMS to clean up and get their patients. This seems more a matter of EMS response time, since multiple vehicles were involved in the crash and that takes time to happen and people not being aware of their surroundings. Crashes are loud and it’s easy to tell when a vehicle is in your way unless weather conditions are poor.

@@Thisplaceisaprison3912 so what your saying the car went from 75mph to 0mph in 2 second lol if it stalled out then it would roll to a stop she would have had enough time to be able to get over a couple of lanes instead of being in the most fastest lane of the freeway. my first used car(never buying used ever again) was a bmw 325ci (automatic not manual) randomly died on the freeway and i was able to get over into the emergency lane and not sit in the middle of the freeway like a retard. (second vehicle i ever owned broke down on me) BMW S1000RR motorcycle the clutch gave out and sherdded up the engine and luckily was able to pull over because sometime if the engine lock up it lock the rear wheel up making you have a high chance going down. p.s i do have video proof of my S1000RR clutch destroying my engine it just on my motorcycle channel if you want to see it.

mafiahalo93 You do realize that the only drivers at FAULT for any of the impacts are the ones that hit other cars. Even if there is a car sitting in the middle of the road, any car that hits it IS AT FAULT for not paying attention. Yes, whenever possible if a car is having some kind of mechanical difficulties you should always TRY to pull off on the right side, HOWEVER... if a car is badly incapacitated and could only "limp" to the far right it would have to cross several lanes of traffic at an illegally slow speed for the highway and could just as easily cause an accident that way as well. So if you can not drive at the minimal speed limit, you should pull off where you are. But either way, as I said, the only ones at fault here are the ones that hit cars that were stopped. This whole thing will probably be an insurance nightmare because several cars both failed to stop AND got hit by others.

Literally it’s not even that lol. I live like 5 minutes from where this accident took place. It’s pretty dark and based on the amount of traffic I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s past midnight. Everyone drives 80-100 mph at that hour plus they were pulled over in the fast lane something is bound to happen at those speeds during that time.

I could never live in California. Florida is a highly populated state with questionable drivers but I think Cali is too congested.

Wasn't the white car's fault.. they hit a car parked in a lane of traffic without it's lights on.. the one functional hazard illuminating from the back of the vehicle was likely dwarfed by the tail lights of the car just ahead on the median (you know.. the car that didn't get hit because they had their lights on).. heck, at the angle of approach, that one functional left hazard probably blended in with the hazards of the car ahead in some odd optical illusion that wouldn't have been an issue if the other car had their lights on..

@@KremitDeFrog If you notice all of the other cars approaching, they slow down, hesitate then move on out of the way, the white car was traveling at a very high speed and didn't break at all which means they were not paying attention at all. I never said it was the white car's fault for these accidents, I said, when the first guy spoke to the camera, he said the roads were slippery but they didn't slide because they didn't apply their brakes. He was a front seat passenger in the white car, and his sister was driving. I also noticed he moved the car over to the median wall to get it out of the road. Everyone be safe out on the roads. An emergency blinkers can be often thought as someone indicating turning lanes. It’s just bad luck at this time of the night. For this to happen.

For some reason that freeway is always super dark all hours of the night.

Not from LA but Hawaii traffic is the absolute worst during morning and afternoon commutes. We only have 2 lane highways so shit gets packed will fucking quick. Since I moved to las vegas in 2017, traffic is no longer an issue. Since most places are withing biking distance, however theres some dumb ass drivers, not knowing how to use their blinkers correctly and can't merge properly.
