I bought the 3-5 books like this and really hadn’t thought much about answer keys 😂 I totally went down a rabbit trail on the internet archives and found “Arithmetic We Need” that has the guidebooks and textbooks available on there for free download. I downloaded and printed the 5th grade and now I’m torn on what to use! There’s so many great vintage books and I know I can’t use them all! Thanks for the update on these versions. Hopefully there is an answer key floating around somewhere for them 🤔

I haven't needed answer keys so far but they would be nice to have. Now, I want to check out Arithmetic We Need!

Which level should I start with?

@@landofkakiakahomeschool I would start with the level that would benefit you most right now and then build out from there. Or just start with level 1.

Since we already have life of fred as a supplement, i decided to try Wentworth-Smith since it comes with the answers lol I haven't decided if we'll use it in the fall or use Strayer-Upton or SCM arithmetic lol 😅

Just curious... Are you going to use these as your boys' stand alone math or as supplements to Right Start or Saxon? I'm currently using Math with Confidence and want to use Number Stories as a supplement but it appears as if it would start to be too much as you move into the Study Arithmetic books. What are your thoughts?

My plan would be to use them as their stand alone curriculum. I might supplement with some math games and abacus practice. I like that it's moving them more in an independent direction whereas Right Start seems to stay pretty teacher driven and I'm just finding myself burning out a bit. I'll be keeping our Right Start books in case we run into any issues and want to use them though.
