Greatest Akokite 💯 It’s 99.999% impossible to buy, ship and clear for 5million naira. As at early 2023; Nigerian Customs Dollar tariff was about 460naira/dollar and the customs duty cost of underage vehicle ranged from 550,000 to 650,000. Fast forward to present time where the customs dollar tariff has been fluctuating between 1,200naira/dollar to over 1,400naira/dollar, The cost of clearing underage vehicle rose to over 2million naira. Please everyone be careful whom you deal with.

Not justifying her, but the calculations might just be right tho. The clearing of 2005/2006 vehicles range between 2-2.5m currently. So if at N1650/$ you got a vehicle from Texas to Naija at $1550, that's roughly N5m!

@@IamAyo. you are right that is just shipping and clearing. How much is the car? And what about the trucking to the port? Including auction charges? That is missing

Does it mean one can't budget like 7m to cover buying, shipping and clearing for lets say a vehicle gotten at copart at $900

@@anthonyifeanyinzobiwu4114 $900 is usually not the final price because the auction charges will be added to it and that gives you about $1,300 and taking it to the port let's assume is $350 plus shipping $1,450 total is $3,100 which is already 4,975,500 let's assume clearing is 2.5m that gives us 7,475,500. My fee is $200 which gives us 7,795,500

So breakdown is is vehicle, $900, other charges, $1300, towing to port $350 and shipping $1450 totally $3000+$200 ur charges.
