Oh it happens so fast. I would leave as many healthy leafs as can. They are your solar feeders. without them, the rack will be smaller than it could have been. We suffer "Panama wilt" here in Hawaii from all of the humidity. They get streaky black and yellow lines down the leaf and sooner than later turn dead kine. The fruit will be the only thing left when get ripe. Sad really. But yea, leave the leaf. Aloha!
@@gorillapermacuture ahaaah! Leave the leaves. Soo happy I did. What, if any, kind of protection or remedies do y’all have to battle against the Panama wilt? I like to be as close to organic as possible, but I know some times some growers choose to use things for specific reasons. Peace N love
@@gardenoftwitty I think there is an anti-fungal that can be foliar sprayed but i just remove the leaves so the spores don't exacerbate the problem. Some varieties suffer worse than others. Even when a Good leaf bend/breaks and hangs, if it doesn't yellow then it is probably still feeding the plant. Yer doing great though.
This has been very for telling. We have high aspirations and hopes for our fruiting rate next year. Even though this flower and her bananas may not get a chance to fully ripen we are keeping notes on it all Peace N Love
