Thanks for posting... I finally found new replacement covers for my old Harlanda sofa and loveseat and have been procrastinating disassembling the furniture to put them on. At least now I know to plan for a couple of hours and that it won't be easy 😂

I love how you switched the back pillows for King size. I have seen people switch them to the 26 x 26 Fjadar pillow by Ikea but, I love the Large pillow for the back. Brilliant!!!!

Thank you!That what I did when I fist got the couch, but I change out the inserts for better quality ones. Then I wanted to change the look again. That's whay I love about the sofa. It's was easy to change the color, with these companies like Linda kale or comfortworks.

In the UK this sofa is called 'Gronlid'. I didn't realise changing the cover needed the sofa to be dismantled.

Hi. Yes, it does need to be dismantled. It can be a pain. I should have gotten the FÄRLÖV sofa. That one you don't need to dismantle, but it is no longer available.

@@cazafeyaI think they've brought out a range called HYLTARP now (in the UK at least) which is the successor to FARLOV and its had removeable covers without the need to dismantle. Not as pretty as FARLOV though :( There's also the option to get an Ikea sofa and then purchase removable slipcovers covers from ComfortWorks, Bemz etc...
