I live in Fort McMurray. After more than four weeks after the evacuation I was allowed to come back yesterday. It is hard seeing all the burned places but the majority of the city was saved. Thanks to all the fire fighters.

Man that shot at the beginning was down the street from the house I spent my whole life in, I'm so amazed it didn't burn down.

The cost will be in the Billions, I'd say from $4-$7 Billion, maybe more..? Man... I've never seen such a huge fire before. God bless all the people effected. My heart goes out to you all. God Bless. Prayers sent.

compassion and support? They'd have a lot more resources to fight these fires if she hadn't of cut the fire services funding by 80 per cent. She cut them from $500 million to $83 million, then she mocked the tragedy.

+Amira Green True but the average Americans house didn't just burn down. When there's a huge wildfire in Nebraska that forces 80,000 people out of their homes and destroys 15% of those homes then we'll encourage people to donate to them as well

they (mostly) arent manmade fires , they might be from lightning, a spark from a train or something or some other natural thing

+Ron Whyte While I agree that climate change is a huge factor, I'm sure that will be brought up more once everyone is safe. That is always the priority.

+Ron Whyte why climat change this is a perfectly natural thing to happen if it is a matter of fact there are plants in that forist that will not regenerate with out fire It is funny when people have a disaster like this immedatly there are those out there who look for people or things to blame however when we park our houses to close to a river or in this case a large wooded area and some thing goes wrong eg a flood or fire we should look at the fact that mabe we are simply no match for mother natureand are verry small in comparison

the fact that that region is in a drought with increasingly warm winters is due to climate change. It was 90 degrees in the days leading up to this fire and that's not even worth a sentence during this broadcast? lol, what a joke
