One of the things that I think people are overlooking right now is that currently in the neo-egoist league, Shidou hasn't received any offers from any clubs. Rin has, but not Shidou. The thing is though, Shidou played in the game that PXG won against Ubers. I have a theory that the PXG team is even more of a Blue Lock recreation than the current ball-stealing nature of Bastard Munchen. Loki and Rin are the same age, and Rin and Shidou want to kill each other. All three are absolute strikers in their own right, and overwrite each other's egos to a crazy extent. Yet despite Shidou's skill, there are absolutely no offers for him. My theory for this is that Shidou is getting utterly trounced by Rin, Loki, or the mystery player that we saw in chapter 169 right now. His personality is majorly working against him, but his stubbornness and ego prevent him from seeing it any other way. Aside from his link-up with Sae, Shidou has very little understanding of the chemical reactions that define Blue Lock's success. Rin and Loki and maybe the mystery player are all devouring each other, in the same way that Isagi, Kaiser, Yukimiya, and Kunigami are all trying to devour each other as well. Shidou however, has never "devoured" one of the main characters in the same sense as Isagi, Rin, or Barou has. And so the game starts between BM and PXG, and Rin and Isagi are considered to be the main rivals. My theory however, is that Shidou finally gains understanding of chemical reactions and devours both of them, subverting our expectations as readers and being almost solely responsible for the defeat of Bastard Munchen.

The only way this makes anything close to sense is of they ranked based on the U-20 match. Even then, to not have Barou included and Oliver higher is crazy. If based on overall manga as of the date, Kaiser, Ness, Kunigami, Ness etc missing is ridiculous.
