@@bradpreston7779 I also liked Don Pardo, Saturday Night Live announcer from day 1 until he finally retired around age 92. They let him do a few bits but not nearly as many as Alan got to do.

What happened to Alan Kalter? Did he pass away? He was always such a hilarious element to Dave's bits. Any info? Much appreciated....

Sadly we lost him in October 2021. He passed away at 78. I sure wish he was still around, he'd be hilarious on the Barbara Gaines Show. I still laugh out loud at him taking taxis to the apartments of people who insult him in mailbag letters, then punching them in the face and getting a cab back to the show.
