This is why I'd watch every single night. You can just tell how much fun everyone is having! From the ridiculous "America you vote what happens next!" segment to Dave closing up the Mailbag halfway through the bit. Thanks for uploading this one!

I like how the percentages steadily rise from zero and don't total 100 until the end rather than fluctuate up and down. I don't know why I even noticed it.

I don't think I ever saw a Viewer Mail segment with e-mail before. I must've stopped watching the show before that started. The show was always fine, but there just seemed to be a greater sense of spontaneity to it in the 1980s and early 1990s. Seems like the last time it really felt spontaneous was when Dave used to direct Rupert Jee to harass people remotely.
