He's lived in England for many years so his English has become much stronger than the other Scorpions members who still have very thick German accents and inflections in their voices...especially Rudolf...his English is stil almost elemental in many ways considering how much time he has spent in the U.S. and other English speaking countries. I've had the good fortune of meeting Uli several times and he us a wonderful person. I met Kalus and Rudolf as well in the early 90s..both very kind people as well.
Michael's English is very good as well(considering he couldn't understand much in early UFO days). He lived in Arizona in the 90's, so that helped a lot. Germans tend to hold onto thick accents unless they get full immersion for a decent length. One can only imagine what Americans that learn German later in life must sound like to them? 🤣

I don't think he minds. IIRC, he expressed that he's happy for them and one of the reasons he left is because "rocker" life isn't for him in older interviews. Can't remember the specific interview, though
