You aren't intimidating even if you are knowledgeable. You're down to earth and so thanks for helping some of us that aren't so confident.

Jorge I truly want to say thank you very much for your videos I like how you explain but also lecture the audience and truly humble us and bring us down to reality to realize we might not know as much as we think we did and wake up and truly learn!!!!!

You right Jorge, we don't go to many details on technical questions as you do in the videos. It really makes a big difference. Good video, Now I feel more confident answering a question about networking for a future interview thanks to this video.

It's nice to look at video but I think sometimes the best thing to do is to read the book to get a proper understanding. Most people just don't like to read, when you read and study it you understand it

I had that questioned asked of me , what is the difference between managed / unmanaged switch . I got nervous even though technically I knew the difference , I reversed the answers. Lesson : never forget the high level aspects of these devices

Jorge I think you was going to explain the reasons or advantages of using EtherChannel but you forgot or skipped it . The main advantage is increased maximum port speed speed. Example ... by bundling ( Sometimes referred to as concatenation ) 4 physical Ethernet ports , each with with a port speed of let's say 2 mbs , Into a logical channel group . You get a maximum Logical Channel output of 8 mbs (minus the overheads in the Ethernet frame ) Also if one of the Ethernet ports in the group goes down due to a fault , the max port speed will auto fall back to a lower port speed of 6 mbs. Another main advantage of using EtherChannel, is the fact that there is no need to use Spanning Tree Protocol (which most techs or would be techs should know) which places standby ports on the network into blocking mode, so as to avoid routing loops and broadcast storms. Hence by not having redundant ports or network segments just sitting there waiting to be utilised . You get to using the entire network resource on the Lan Segment .
