When most look for a center console, they look for a well rounded fishing platform. The only way to learn if these boats are well setup for fishing is by getting our hands dirty and getting them into the action. We decided to sacrifice ourselves so we could make that happen. ;)
We teamed up with Streamline Boats and the Miami Mutton Man family including Miami Mutton Man, Jr. We took two 26' CC's loaded with ice, chum, rods and ran out to about 60' of water to anchor up. The chum hit the water first and we got ourselves setup. Seconds later, the ballyhoo rolled in and we scooped enough to fill the livewell with one pass of the hoop net.
The yellowtail balled up behind the boat within minutes and the action began. The Streamline is perfect for the reef whether fishing or spearfishing. It's side door ads easy access for a spearo, or entry for a larger gamefish.
We loaded up with a two boat limit of 90 yellowtail before noon and took off. Quick trip to the grocery store was successful and a hell of a lot of fun.
