Jimbo and Jim Art and careers are part of my biggest inspiration as an Artist. Thanks for all you have done so far for the Art and skateboard community.
This was such a great interview with a legend!!!!! I love seeing all the spaces they work in. So much inspiration, so many ideas! Skate life!!! Thank you always! Much love! ✌️
I super love this very comprehensive conversation with Jimbo Phillips and enjoy how you have always been inspired by him as an artist! Around 27:27 it warms my heart to see how excited you are to bring out that print of Jimbo Phillips' Rosko face and the enthusiasm that shows on you about the drawing itself to follow. Lovely content Chris! Thank you Jimbo for your generosity of time contributed to this interview. Watching on this side with stars in my eyes over your art. Gonna seek out some of those Jimbo Phillips merch sock for my sons.😎
the jim phillips screaming hand is (no pun intended) hands down the greatest graphic edit: since i was a kid i only ever rode a screaming hand deck, its a timeless and iconic design, so glad it stuck around all these years
Super cool episode. Definitely going to share for my skater friends to watch. I remember the skateboards but never realized the art that is involved with skateboards. And I liked learning about the printing methods. Funny story too, one of the most scariest movies in my book is Total Recall because of the scene with the eyes popping out😂 but the mouth hand art is super rad! Thanks for another great episode Chris & Paulina.
An emblematic subculture family style that has inspired so many of us for decades, I hope they feel the gratitude from us all :-) made me want to pick up some of their gear..
