@N7Soulless bro I passed after I failed 2 times but third times a charm. I went to the one in union city. For me 30 hours in the yard wasn't enough for me I had to pay for additional hours. Plus all 3 of my road test were scheduled in south jersey we talking almost 2 hours away I'm from Newark nj
Man I’ve been looking up a lot of pre trip videos and your are great man watched this video about 3 times listening word for word and taking notes of things that made me nervous and I’ll say big thank you man you truly helped me get the confidence I needed for this I got this I will get my Cdl
You missed governor cut out... build pressure between 125-140 release air and hear a sneeze Also when you do tractor parking breaks Trailer parking breaks Service breaks You always in first gear... and you have to say it Its better to do that first than do the governor cut out Air lose Warning signals Spring breaks or parking valves This is why it's important to do things in order to not forget things This guy has another video that he is acting as an inspector and has a guy doing the pre-trip I recommend to watch that its more clear and doesn't miss things 😊
Governor cut in and cut out tests are NOT required in Wisconsin, so it wasn’t missed, neither is Air pressure build up…both used to be prior to 2014, but not any longer
@@Antoniobrady good to hear 😂 👏 how long did it take for you to learn how to "actually" pretrip, so you could have a peace of mind and know your truck is safe to drive? Because all those parts under the hood is a bit overwhelming..
@@itssnowway I’ve worked for a rig moving company my entire adult life, almost 18 years. So I’ve been around it a lot, and it was still intimidating trying to remember everything for the test. As far as driving, it’s not too bad. Just look over everything. Best advice I can give you is to get a grease gun and learn to grease your truck, it’s a great way to get familiar with your truck and helps you find issues before they become issues.
Some schools are different. I’m in Cali nd this video is very similar. Only differences for me was that he doesn’t say there’s less than 3/4 inches of play in the belt.
@@djmtexas I passed the pre trip today and I aced coupling and the trailer plus the in cab / lab / offset and backing I failed in the alley dock 90 I pulled up too many times. I almost got it . I’m going to do some more practice , and take it in 72 hours. Man I felt very discouraged about it. Thanks for your video
