Thank you so much!!! In the video, he told everything in detail, showed. It helped a lot. Today I passed the pre-trip inspection and road test. Thank you!!!
@@taylordulay8303 yes but it's not hard, at first it seemed difficult but they have you say it over and over again so when it's time to take the test you'll have it memorized....
By far my fav on youtube. Straight and simple. In Ohio it has to be fone in 40min or less. All others i see are an hour long. This broke it down to simpler terms. Definitely saving this one. I start school in 5days.
I have class in 30 min, 3 more classes then skills test🥲 it has took me years to get here I pray who ever is going for it… give it your all & enjoy your new adventurous life 🙏🤘🏼
I'm 47 year old woman learning this 1st time! My instructor is like a drill sergeant which makes me nervous! Please everyone send me your positive vibes & strength😅😮..I really need it now! I want to succeed & have a new, exciting career as an OTR...❤ D feon DE
Hey Danielle, I’m 45 yo female also doing all of this for the 1st time 👋😊 We got this!! Have you tested already? I’m scheduled for this coming Monday June 5th 🙀 I just finished CDL school at Roadmaster Memphis. I just keep going over all my notes & watching these videos pounding it in my head 🤯 I’m pretty sure I got it, but don’t want to forget anything. Best of luck to you & your new career. I know you can do it 😀👍
@@iamKristyEscue hey Kris, thanks for your reply. YES!! WE GOT THIS! Did I mention I go to Dawn Career Institute in DE? let me know if u passed & if it was difficult, ect..I want to hear all the details!!😊🤣❤️Danielle
The undisputed most best CDL class A pre-trip video on RU-vid (HANDS DOWN!) I passed my test off this Guy. If i ever saw him in person I'd buy Him the best stake dinner of His choice...💯💯
I just wanna said thank you a lot for making this video . I watched this video more than 20x a day if it wasn’t for this video I wouldn’t had passed my road test on Friday 4/14 thank you a lot . & if anybody reading this you can do it 🎉
The only thing I could think to add to this is steering rod is properly mounted and secured with no play. Probably wouldn’t hurt to mention the band clamps on the brake chambers. Also while doing the in cab make sure you let the instructor know this is a 20 inch steering wheel and has no more than 2 inches or 10 degrees of play. I’m not bashing the video it’s a really good video. Those are just a couple of things my examiner looked for as well that I didn’t hear.
I actually used his words for mine so I wasn't changing it all the way through the truck, just say not broken, not cracked, on secure, not leaking. Made it simple and passed my test first try with a very good score
reason why u have to learn it is because once your an over the road driver and something happen to your truck then thats how u know whats messed up. i thought cdl is just about driving and its not, you have to inspect everything before you even drive it.
I like the fact that the truck components and parts in the engine and outside are nice and clean , easy to locate and recognize unlike other videos were their truck engines were all dirty and hard to identify! Good job with the video!
You can turn to easy target,Don't mention what u have in your account many people have been kidnapped just for account pin and kill for less. I wish u the best, Everyone planning to be a driver has to pay alot to go school and exited. Do what's neccessary to improving yourself . Don't give up even if things turn harder. Nice to see people with strong will.Good luck
I'm so inspired by your inspection. Therefore, it is knowledgeable and edifying, and outrageously informational. You crossed every "T" and dotted every "I". Thank you for making me aware of the immensity of all truck parts and components. Truthfully, I'm not sure if I could memorize every part, light and function, nevertheless, watching your video would help with the process of building memory. You are Godsend. Thank you for sharing!!..
WOW, I watched the whole video, I wrote down everything in my notebook, I had my permit, now I need to take my road test, I felt like I was in a classroom studying. This video is amazing everything is explained clearly and slowly enough to understand. Thank you so much for posting this video .
I got screwed over twice Apparently they want more details I failed today because I didn't say why the cables in the back of the alternator were there for What the function of the alternator was for
I'll keep watching this video until I can pass the test, I fell the first time for rushing my self, but the next time I'll be taking my time, Part after part, looking at every detail patiently identifying as it is presented in this very educational video .🤝👍
I PASSED MY CDL YESTERDAY BECAUSE OF THIS VIDEO!!! just make sure to add no missing nuts or bolts on anything metal and also anything that is rubber no abrasions, cuts or cracks or bubbling. Also with the brake camber don’t forget your brake chamber clamp
hey brotha i got to test this june 9th can you give me any ideas or anything that can help me please? im really struggling remembering the names of the things
Thanks. Thanks 🙏 Hi. The video is very good, wonderful and useful. Can you make a second video like this, but the description is short in words and sentences. I mean short words. It is only important to pass the exam so that it is easier to memorize. Thank you very much. Wonderful🙋♀️🙋♂️👍🙏🌹
Very detailed u guys did and great job! the only sad thing is on the part of air brake test is not the same for every state. What state u guys located?
YOULL MAKE MORE DRIVING A HiLo! Fr. The HiLo drivers at all my docks make more than me. They didn't have to pay 8 grand for CDL school and have nowhere near the responsibility of hauling 50,000+lbs down the road. You screw up as a Truck driver and people die. You screw up on a Hilo you'll have a mess to clean up.
i REALLY APPRECIATE THEM LEAVING THE REAL TIME FOR THE AIR BRAKE TO REFILL DURING THE BRAKE TEST. THAT WAY PEOPLE KNOW ITS GOING TO TAKE A WHILE AND THEY DON'T GET NERVOUS OR UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE EXAMINER. ALSO, FORGIVE THE CAPS LOCK LOL
Yea that and also he forgot the valve stems to the steer front axles (he mentions the others), the tractor's reverse clear lights, the wheel's chock, front drive axle airbag and plate mount, 5th wheel release arm and exhausts under pipes for any black soot presented but otherwise he likely got the states passing requirement CDL score depending, good for him thou ..
@@sherifselim2455 damn small world I know Jersey city well. I used to have a doctor on Kensington back in the day. Good luck to you too man. I keep doing the pre trip every free chance I get. I start the driving training Monday. 🤞
@@JimmyR83 good luck man ! What I’ve been doing is that instead of putting my time in any social media I just see videos and read about the truck, I watch this and many other videos even before going to sleep I don’t even listen to music anymore just these vid 24/7
Properly mounted and secured not cracked or broken all hoses are soft and pliable and not leaking. No illegal welds on anything metal that’s how I was tought
Great video! The order of the brake tests could have been done differently to save time tho. If you do the tug test and service brake test before the pump down, you dont have to wait for the compressor to refill the air tests to complete the pump down tests.
Are you allowed to just group all the hoses and wires together when you explain the pre trip? My school has taught me to go 1 by 1 and explain it like that. I live in California
Every state is different. Here in Wisconsin you can do that. The DOT cut out like 35% of pre trip in Wisconsin because they weren't producing enough truckers. Guys would go into training and say forget this, I have to basically be a mechanic to drive.
I wonder why during the frontal inspection he is describing the four functions of the lights? He’s not checking their function at this point. The function is checked during the light check…So why mention it On the frontal inspection?
3 piece steering linkage would never be accepted in CT, you have to say Pitman Arm, Drag link and Tie Rod or that is a fail. There test must be easier.
@@tyboogie2438 trying to find a pretrip for pa ! How bad was it at the dmv hopefully I will be taking my pretrip at DMV in pa soon ! Just trying to find out what to expect !
I have seen many videos checking what I could have missed to make sure I picked all is need to make sure I dont fail my test. So far this one has been d most complete and clear video. Not even my class intructor teacher has been this ,clear, complete and informative. Definitely that does worries me, after seen all the many things my teacher has missed.
