I feel like I have heard this version from Angelina of this fantastic song a thousand times, but I still get shivers all over.

This is just one of many that the greatest in history would love to have under their belt! and there are some that have broken reactors! Like complete break downs with uncontrollable crying where it touches you deeply while others changed where you can see the before and after Angelina Jordan transformation and some dedicating their channel to her! and this 58 year old guy and I'm still trying to figure it out for the past 5 years! So, when I say, she has touched the hearts of man and could command an army and change the world I mean she is a “World changer” and funny thing is she just in time! Angelina clearly has stellar acting skills that are very noticeable if you watch many of her videos. She can turn the act on and off like switch. She even mocks her own acting in a rehearsal video. Quite funny. She is the best.

I was reading that she went to a waldorf school and their focus is creativity, from the time she was little and until she left that school her creativity was the focus. This is why I believe she has done so well besides the fact her grandmother is an artist and poet herself.

I have experienced this performance close to 125 times, and each time I lose my breath and get chill, and I might say, this performance has been viewed over 150 million times by others that I am sure have the same experience. No storytelling signature voice has ever caused me to experience these emotions on each and every performance, and I am 75.

The first time I listened to this I knew it was hit material. I swear you could almost see Freddy standing in the crowd waving his halo with the crowd teary eyed at the respect and love she showed his iconic song.

Besides the accolades you bestowed upon her there is, however, something missing. Although she is a very humble person, when she performs her poise and confidence are on full display. I believe you did point out how comfortable she appears to be when performing. But, in the couple of times I've listened to your critiques you have never addressed her direct connection to the audience. Her voice is extremely soulful and she touches people's hearts when she sings. It's not my opinion. Thousands and thousands of people all over the world will tell you the same thing. Is it because it is something that cannot be taught you leave that aspect alone? Cecilia, when you listen to her, perhaps away from the reaction channel, do you feel the love in her voice? Her voice is extraordinary, her artistic abilities are off the chart and her ability to touch people, to actually bring tears to their eyes, elevates her to a level reserved for only a few. I know you concentrate on her music and don't stray away from that but she is a beautiful human being and it is a gigantic factor to consider when listening to her sing. I have heard so many reactions to her singing this and I think you're spot on. I have always wondered what that shift between "I don't want to die" and "Sometimes I wish I never had been born" is called technically. Even I can hear there is a very distinct and effective shift in vocal quality. You might find her original 7th Heaven interesting. Or her cover of Etta James I'd Rather Go Blind. Or literally dozens of other masterful covers by her.

Having Eddy Murphy sing this would be interesting, glad you kept it in the video :-) You are doing awesome stuff with your channel, I hope it will bring you everything you hope for! She never suffers from nerves. In an interview she said she gets a lot of energy from the audience and when she performs she enters a happy place where everything is good. I find that very inspiring considering I have quite the case of stage fright. Recently she sang at a number of live concerts and she was visibly very happy to be there. With Angelina I also have the impression that she is performing and telling the story while using her techniques and not showing of her very impressive vocal toolbox. Oh Cecilia! What a lovely reaction .. sensitive and wise. I want to let you know that she just spent a month in Norway and did two concerts at places she used to sing at as a young girl. There are various videos of her singing at these concerts. She had not been live on a stage with an audience since she left Norway .. except, of course, AGT and singing at Quincy Jones' birthday tribute, invited by Quincy himself. ( by the way ..The rehearsal with Quincy's orchestra was exquisite .. she is so elegant and relaxed in any situation and even for those of us who watch her sing daily, it was a joy to see and hear her so calm and totally present. They shot this rehearsal in a gymnasium in London and the orchestra was deliciously huge.) You may already know all this .. but before she left for Norway she dropped her personal version (cover) of Elvis' "Suspicious Minds". It is such a joy to see her and hear her voice as it totally comes into its own .. and each cover or original right now shows the growth and the richness of her voice really shifting and rich as can be. I could not recommend more for you to watch her "Suspicious Minds" and I would love to hear what your reaction to it will be. ALSO .. right after she came back from Norway (a little more than a week ago ..) she dropped a cover of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" that is very special and again .. Now 16, highly recommend another incredible reinterpretation by Angelina - the Elvis classic Suspicious Minds - done in a way that only Angelina could reimagine. IMHO what differentiates Angelina from other great singers is that in addition to her beautiful voice , she also has the GOD given gift to be able to emote the essence of each song she sings direct to our hearts & souls allowing us to also deeply FEEL her music. I would be remiss if I didn't also recommend her amazing black & white performance of I Put A Spell On You (which she also arranged) at age 9. Thank you. With this song, you will hear a completely different side of her and I promise your life will never be the same nor your thinking about her after hearing this song from Angelina at the mere age of 9 years old! Love your comments not only on Angelina’s performance but on AGT. INMHO, AGT has gone really downhill, since relegating Angelina to a 5th place finish because she wouldn’t sign their standard contract, which basically would have taken all her rights away from this and tied her to a long term contract. It’s interesting, that the remaining members of Queen gave her the copyright to her version. She subsequently released it on her label as a single. She is currently performing in Norway, and this song has been in at least two of her concerts there.

Cecilia, Angelina Jordan just released her cover of "Suspicious Minds" check it out. Or another one that show cases her vocals is -Angelina Jordan - I Have Nothing (Allsang på Grensen 2022). I am not one to really be obsessed with an artist, but there is something about the way she sings that just draws you in. It like after listening to her I keep humming the tune the rest of the day. I would love to see her in the studio more. She can do the concerts later, I just want to hear more songs from her. FYI-Somewhere on the internet there is a channel that put together all of the songs she has sung publicly. If I remember it was something like 132 songs.

My favorite performance by her is her rendition of the jazz standard, My Funny Valentine, a song I have loved for 50 years. All the legendary jazz vocalists have recorded it (600+) in many different ways. To me, Angelina's is the best version I have ever heard & is a master class in vocal control & dynamics. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 22 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years and toured with Barbara Streisand accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show that aired Dec 23 of 21, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. Rob has been working with AJ from the very 1st day Republic signed her at age 14. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.)

The point is she sensibly removes the "put a gun against his head....." section. It served Mercury's sense of melodrama, but AJ is not about that, thankfully. She transforms the song into something more tasteful.

Her parents did not exploit their daughter as so many parents do when they have a talented kid. They turned down just about every know record company there is. Even Disney got turned down. Finally, after many years of turning people away, signed a record deal. There are two young new genius singers born in the XXI century, each of an entirely different music genre. One is Angelina Jordan. The other is in classical music: Amira Willighagen. Musically one of my favorites is a (2017) "Cry Me a River" rendition ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Zr4INP8yhB0.html ), which show cases AJ's jazz vocals along with a virtuoso trombone performance. Angelina's voice is maturing so much in the last couple of years as shown by her (2022) "My Funny Valentine" release and her (2022) recently released "Suspicious Minds".
