I remember in 85 going to CP and I was 10. I had a pair of cut off jean shorts and they were so short(freaking Daisy Dukes) that they middle part tore apart and they became a jean skirt. As a male, with older brothers, it couldn’t have been more embarrassing. My stepmom took me to first aid and they actually had a sewing kit there. I sat in my underwear, sad and embarrassed, at first aid while she sewed them together for me. Thank you Cedar Point for having a sewing kid. Rest In Peace, Loretta and thank you for your seamstress skills, and finally, thank you to the evolution of style for making longer shorts the way to go.
