Getting literal chills from this my god this is spectacular. Forest Duo for the win :D The instrumental slaps so hard. I started this song and didn’t expect the amount of emotion within before the lyrics even came. The lines with overlapping vocals are amazing. I’ve always loved your other songs that do that so I’m glad it’s here too. Cedar’s anger is so real. Yeah, apparently Fern (I wanna know her true name omg the suspense is _killing me)_ didn’t mean to leave for so long but she did. And genuinely caring doesn’t fix her mistakes. Wanting to change doesn’t fix the past. It’s so validating istg. I like how this is titled Cedar’s Descent but it’s the effects of not just his actions that are at play here. It gives me “this may be your fault but I’m to blame somehow” vibes… that might just be me projecting onto a literal deer tho, dear lord /pos Edit: will there be subtitles to the video? Or lyrics in the description? Some of the background lyrics are harder to read and I can’t quite figure out what’s being said.
