Working as an employee for pharmaceutical company and watching and listening to thousands of actual patients who need this drug and have been without it for months at a time because of a “trend” makes me sick and worried about this world 😢
Controlling your weight is key not to be a diabetic. I think that’s crap. Big Pharma makes all kinds of money off meds that shouldn’t cost that much. This isn’t insulin. There are other drugs that folks can take. So, basically gain a ton of weight and at some point really need the meds b/c a person is diabetic. We have to get sick first rather than fix the problem before it happens. Hmmmm…how much sense does that make.
@@earthstar7534 yes, sometimes people do get diabetes because their choice in what they eat but sometimes people have a diabetes because of their parents or just passed down within genes 🧬 . So please remember .
@heyysophie 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Your so wrong on so many levels.... I'm a T1D I've been keto before keto was a thing..... ketoacidosis is when your blood sugars have been high for so long its dangerous. A keto diet is extremely low carb which greatly limits the risk of ever getting a high bg if you never have a high bg your never going into ketoacidosis.... IDK where you got your info from but it's so drastically wrong it's honestly laughable. I'm still not 100% convinced that your comment wasn't a joke
Girl just intermittent fast like the rest of us 😭 it works great, people need those meds to live and/or avoid long term complications like losing body parts and vision💀
@@StrongRae it depends how busy I am that day but typically I fast 17-18 hours. It works pretty fast but results vary based on the person, what they eat, how much they eat etc. I would snack and have soda and tbh my face looked swollen because of it and within a month it was gone.
I did intermittent fasting and lost 15 lbs in 1 month. Kept doing it & haven’t gained it back since. Idk what she did but regulating that insulin def works.
The truth is in the muscle toning. If there isn’t much of that, then she did it the ozempic way. We have never seen Ayesha this thin since she was in the public eye.
@@NoOne-wt3sv no you can't tell by the muscle toning because if you lose weight with more cardio than weight training you will probably appear thin without muscle. She doesn't have the Ozempic face to me.
Okay you guys, I am a person who did my research, along with my doctor and we both decided ozempic was good for me to use, not only to help me lose weight also because I couldn't work out due to all my injuries and I was pre-diabetic! You take this shot once a week, and you have to change your eating habits! I stopped drinking, to this day the last time I had a drink was 4th of July 2022! I cut out a lot of processed foods, however I am not the type of person that eat a lot of sweets, bread, and pasta! I don't eat pork, I would eat beef maybe twice a year! I eat more berries and green smoothies plant-based smoothies,, lean chicken breast, and and fish! I was a social drinker so that wasn't hard for me at all not to drink alcohol! I have always been very healthy when it came to my eating habits! When I start using the ozempic in July 2022 and I stopped and February 2023 I lost 55 lb! Now what I want you all to understand is, I started out with a point .25mg of the Olympic! You have to choose a day that you want to give your shot and make sure you do the shot on the same day the same time each week I remember after a few months my doctor took took me up to 1 mg and I start having side effects to the point where the ozempic 1 mg was suppressing my appetite to the point that when I try to eat I will throw up! I start having abdomen pain, and severe constipation which is not good at all! I also start having really bad chest pains that I ended up going to urgent care! I did everything I was supposed to do and I regularly went to my doctor and she did blood work to make sure everything was okay with my liver, my kidneys and they were fine! The end of the day what I'm trying to express to everyone is consult your doctor and do not get this medication from anyone else! You need to do blood work to make sure your liver and kidneys are okay! You need to drink plenty of water, stop eating sweets and processed foods! You can end up hurting yourself really badly by misusing this drug called ozempic! I'm telling you what I know to be true, what y'all do with that information is up to you!🙏
A good Friend of mine went on it because of an allergic reaction to whatever front line drug is usually used. They told her it was just a stop gap to get her stable while they figure out her meds. You can't be on it long term and it has side effects.
I don’t know why they use that drug for weight loss lazy people. Herbs and nature will help you even better than that crap. For one week I drank herbal teas and my regular meals and I am so slim now . I value myself too much to take that drug for quick weight loss. It’s the pressure the media has on people I wish we can all be healthy and confident but people are vain and go to extremes .
I was also diagnosed with a hormonal condition at age 17 doctor told me to take birth control like if he was doing me a favor. No thank you herbs that God created helped me . I heard many stories of woman going bonkers of birth control after removing it . But they don’t warn them about it .
Mate, Ayesha got in the best shape of her life after her 3rd child. She constantly documents her work outs and what she eats. Haters will say it’s the O
Nobody is hating on her weirdo. Who hates on a woman Who has a great husband but wants attention from other men.🤣😂I guess she's getting it now. Hell, she was working out for years and didn't lose weight, then it just came off so fast. Bull$h..
Being logical doesn't make someone a "hater" NO woman gets in the "best shape of their life" after their third child. Whatever you are smoking...lay off it. 😂
@@ndee1472 you’ve obviously never had a regular workout and healthy eating routine 🙄 you’re not the brightest bulb because having children doesn’t stunt your body from being able to get in to shape ….oof! 🤦♀️
I looked into Ozempic and it was crazy expensive and most insurance don’t cover it. Which is why it’s a celebrity weight loss solution, it’s used for people with diabetes though for insulin regulation.
I took Ozempic for 4 months, due to uncontrollable diabetes. In those 4 months, I lost 60 pounds and my A1C got under 6. (It was 12 when I first started.) Then, my insurance stopped covering it. Started gaining the weight back, while still doing the things I was doing while taking the injections. My A1C has gone back up and my insulin is out of wack again. When used properly, this medication works wonders.
Were you on other medications for the diabetes? If so, it seems that Ozempic was more effective at both controlling your diabetes and helping you lose weight. I am type 2 diabetic also and taking Januvia and Metformin. They do a decent job of controlling my blood sugar levels, but I'm having to put in work to lose weight.
I think so too. She looks too thin. I am on ozempic but because I am a diabetic. Started with one called trulicity and because of people taking it just to lose weight and being on back order my doctor switched me to ozempic. I lost weight but most of my weight loss was from running and sweating. Went from 201 pounds to 145 lbs . Took me seven years.
She looks beautiful now thinner and beautiful previously heavier. I just hope her heart is good. Weight loss for many is hardA! May we all find our way to our healthiest bodies. ❤️🙌🏾
Yup! I’ve heard of Ozempic. Also,I heard berberine was good too. It helps you drop the pounds FORREAL. My adderall helps me so I can’t take either of those. If lose too much weight 😭 She looks really good!
And exactly my weightloss doctor said this he was like everything is sugar as long as u don’t eat it you’ll lose weight no injection needed . The thing is stopping the cravings
Same results. Intermittent fasting everyday and zero sugar. Got my whole life together. Regulating your insulin with or without Ozempic will cause weight loss and heal inflammation period. Don’t assume everyone is on these drugs - everyone is aware that managing sugar and insulin spikes is the truth.
Until she’s says it out of her mouth I don’t believe it 😂. Allegations is that allegations. She’s looks damn good either way. People need to be happy she got the extra weight off. Medication, weight lost surgery or plastic surgery doesn’t matter. She’s trying to get and be healthier.
Using a medication not meant for u isn't really the healthiest way to do it though not only that there's shortages currently on this drug that people with actual diabetes can't get their medicine that's dangerous and selfish of everyone taking this that don't need it
As a nurse Ozempic and a drug called Mounjaro is used to treat diabetes but a higher dose is also, approved as a weight loss drug. Let’s not forget obesity is considered a complex disease as well.
I do much better with Keto and fasting. Ozempic made "ME" feel sick, and I didn't lose or gain. I have done OMAD, but you're super tough with the ADF! Do it naturally if you can. 🎉
"In people trying to lose weight, a double-blind study found that 600 mcg per day of niacin-bound chromium helped some participants lose more fat and less muscle." Ummmmm. You are the MVP in these comments!!! Thank You!!! ❤
Ozempic is actually FDA approved for both diabetes and weight loss (under the name Wegovy), but we have no clue if she was diabetic or had insulin resistance from something like PCOS. I'm not diabetic, but I have PCOS and it's so hard to lose weight. I'm almost at a healthy weight but the yo-yoing is so annoying. My doc was talking to me about potentially starting on it.
Same here. IR and Hoshimoto’s. I can’t lose weight for nothing. My Doctor has suggested it. I’m nervous about it. But at my wits end being 80# overweight for years now.
I think she looks wonderful. I watched the movie Grease two days ago for the 100th time and was so surprised at how thin the actors were back in the day. Our bodies are not meant to be as big as they are now. Over eating and laziness should not be normalized. 😊
The drug Sugar is the problem. It's highly addictive, and it's in almost everything we eat from the grocery store. It's also big money for the medical community. It's so bad that they're even offering rehab programs for it. #godhelpusall
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year. I was prescribed metformin but decided to help myself by researching what food I can eat that will not spike my blood sugar. I went low card and sugar free, lost maybe 20lbs? I wasn’t checking my weight then but smaller old clothes fit me now. My hba1c is now 5.2 from 7.6. I’m doing this because I don’t want to rely on medications and people are using diabetes meds to lose weight 😅
For anyone wanting to try ozempic a word of caution: i took ozempic for my diabetes and i did lose weight, but it made me terribly nauseous. As soon as i stop taking it, i gained the weight i lost plus 5 lbs. It does work, but it is a longterm thing, if you stop, weightloss doesn’t stay.
I think ozempic actually makes people nauseous and prevents them from eating. So they can loose weight easier because your probably eating 1/2 the calories you need but then the drugs also tells your body that’s fine so you don’t crave food from the starvation feeling. It sorta cuts out the I’m hungry feeling. And when people even diabetics who use the drug get off of it the gain weight back.
In the side by side picture of her before & after I think she looks a million times better with a few more pounds on. Look at the picture, her face looks full & is glowing ; in the other before picture her head looks huge, bones don’t shrink that’s why very thin ppl’s feet & head look oddly huge.
working in a medical field.. i could say that ozempic is widely being used.. by those who arent diabetic either. doesnt matter if you cannot get your hands on ozempic, it’s not a maintenance. This just helps you lose the excess weight that your unregulated hormones cannot. As per the videos ending, yes. It regulates the blood sugar, so if you simply avoid a little less sugar, you are good.. but man, people pay hundreds of dollars just to get their hands on thesec oz they hella work
That’s why I’m on a waitlist bc celebs are taking the drugs ordinary people REALLY need so they can lose the 15 pounds they were too lazy to lose on their own.
Well let’s blame the pharmaceutical industry and who ever is writing the fake scripts first it’s a shortage on plenty of other drugs my nieces adhd medicine was on back order for 5+ months 😐
I take ozempic and it works wonders I lost 17 pound in 1.5 months. And I no longer have to take it because that was my goal but I honestly recommend if you are struggling to lose weight naturally.
Like you said ozempic, keto, fasting all work by regulating the blood sugar. So who cares what tool she used. Maybe she used all 3 . I hope she feels good in the new body.
@@kathydelarosa1286 it’s superrr unhealthy! & I’ve been needing to loss about 40 pounds for 3 years now… I would never use that mess lol. And before you comment back, yes I can afford it if I wanted😂😂
@@Lovelife2022-j6w then don’t use it. Everyone can use a different tool to get the results they need to get . There is no right or wrong way to do what’s best for you. N=1.
The thing about weight loss drugs is that as soon as you get off them you're gonna gain the weight right back. You're better off doing something sustainable. Staying in a calorie deficit is the only thing that works long term and is sustainable. Btw That's how intermittent fasting works. You consume less calories because you only eat a few hours out of the day.
I’m all for losing weight, but only the healthy way. 20’years ago people were taking pills with ephedrine in them and it was killing them. I’m not killing my self to lose weight. I’ll do weight watchers and exercise until the cows come home. I like Weight watchers because you can still have desert… it hardly restricts what you can eat. “There’s no easy way out. There’s no short cut home.”
I’m noticing more women doing it. We’re fasting and eating healthier and hitting the gym. Yes we shed the weight but we become better and feel better. I’m so proud of women! 😍✨I jumped on the bandwagon and haven’t looked back since. Lost 15 pounds and feel amazing! Keep going ladies some of us actually love to see it!!! 🥰✨
@@bfeditingchannel1410 Its true, as a healthcare provider they are out there. It's ridiculous that this is such a black and white issue because it's not. Many drugs are used off label for other underlying conditions. Please educate yourself, and don't be rude, I would've thought your parents would've taught you better.
I’m on it and it’s a lot easier maintaining a good blood sugar. This medicine literally makes you full as hell when you eat. You physically can’t eat a lot because it makes your digestive system move slowly. So it’s easier said than done when not on this medication.
Blood sugar regulation is KEY I regulated mine with keto. If I was a bit more consistent in my routine I'd be WAY ahead in my journey. But My numbers are fine. I recently lost 4 pounds of fat, so I'm happy af! I'm now doing IF with low carb and I lost 4.5 inches off my waist. I can't wait to see my results in the process. Excited 💙
I got rid of 40Lbs by not eating tortillas, drinking only water, and going to sleep with a little bit of hunger (eating 2hrs before bedtime). That’s just consumption. I also go to the park every day because of my toddler, and I walk a lot.
Or how about doing it the right way and start fasting keeping your insulin levels down to enter into ketosis( burning fat for energy) and Autophagy(self eating), which is your body's way of healing itself. The problem is primarily everyone is insulin resistant and why everyone is sick and can't lose stubborn fat.
You are absolutely right. Now I am on the weight loss drug, but I was just telling my sister the same thing. I said girl this is a keto diet. If you are not eating mainly protein with the shot, you are not going to lose weight. You can lose weight actually faster with Tito and intermittent fasting. I’m paying $500 a month to get on the keto diet that would take weight off anyway. The only difference I will give to the drugs credit is that I’m not putting any weight back on which I would normally go up and down up and down, but the drug does regulate me keeping the success that I have. But Girl you are speaking straight facts.
She lost that weight like 4 years ago way before this medication was available to non diabetics! She’s done numerous interviews about working out with her trainer and how hard she worked to loose weight after her son!
Not if you're insulin resistant and keep gaining weight, which will eventually lead to diabetes since I'm predisposed. My doctor recommended it just last week.
The thing about Ozempic. When you stop taking it. The weight will immediately come back very quickly and then some. You won't even have to eat high calorie, and the weight will flood in.
If you've girls in your home please help them them to loce themselves. Please encourage them not to be influenced by celebrities. These celebrities are deciding what the look should be. One minute, it's BBLs with waists as thin as our necks. Now, it's thin with ribs on display. Let's not keep up. Let's be ourselves.
What am I doing wrong? I’m not losing weight. I do IF (18-6), an a vegetarian so I eat vegetables, a cup of beans and a green smoothie. I may have cup or two of popcorn if I need a snack. 12 glasses of water.😩
I'm a diabetic and will not take ozambique. I will do alternate and intermittent over medication that speaks volumes. I've been a diabetics since twelve years old I know better trust me
They think they look good, no honey, you SICK! I remember when I was basically anorexic and I thought was looking GOOD! I look back at those pictures, I looked sick. I look at pictures when I was at the same weight but I was eating right and exercising… big difference!
Meanwhile my doctor put me on ozempic to control my weight gain from Thyroid disease. 10lbs total lost . Failed in my eyes. My husband controlled his blood sugar by not eating sugar bread starches lost total weight 35 pounds in 3 months. She’s right
I take wegovy, which is the same medication except its specifically prescribed for weight-loss. Many people are overweight, obese and/or pre-diabetic. I've always worked out and eaten well. I was on the OMAD diet and that's the only way I dropped a few pounds. I'm in my 40's & losing weight is difficult. I feel shaming someone for taking steps to improve their health is insensitive. Since being on Wegovy I've lost weight and I never crave sweets. I feel healthier! Botox was originally intended for another purpose. The shortage of these medications will not last, big pharma will catch up....they will not miss out on all that money!
Unfortunately in the Ozempic commercials, they now mention that it will help with weight loss. Terrible. Now it's a weight loss drug (with side effects).
I am a psychiatric nurse. Diabetic drugs are prescribed To help with the weight gain, that antipsychotics, antidepressants, etc. tend to cause. So yeah, it’s not just for celebrities😊
You are so right, and you should listen to the book, the audiobook, the Microbiome diet by Raphael Kellman! That’s what I think Ozempic does it changes their Microbiome which regulates the insulin
