It was a very useful supplement. FASA when they first came onto the scene were very useful in providing material for Traveller back in the day. Not as important in my opinion as say Paranoia Press, but definitely only second to Paranoia Press. Judges Guild did some stuff for Traveller as well, but it wasn't the best material honestly. Oh and I'd not discount the importance of L. Ross Babcock or Sam Lewis to a lesser degree for that matter. Also, thanks for making me feel even older. lol. So when you were born I'd been playing for a years basically. heh. Time, it flies.

Congrats on 2000. This looks really cool. I remember several people & companies put out Traveller stuff once upon a time. FASA put out a lot of great stuff over the years. I love the material from their Trek game, though I never actually got it to the table, so I don't know how it plays. I used that material when I ran Trek using Over the Edge 2nd Ed (which was awesome!). I think I told this already, but I played in a LONG Earthdawn campaign back in the late 90s. The guy who ran my game went on to be a major player in later editions, and I think is still working on it.

Awesome. I have some FASA Trek stuff and had played a couple sessions in college. Mechanics are a bit irrelevant when the game focus is on solving ethical problems, which is what Trek should be.

I remember FASA of old--you didn't mention Star Trek or Dr Who. I never got to play Dr Who but Star Trek was actually rather good, using BRP for it's system in the familiar three little book format, then bolstered by some great add-on material that expanded the setting.

Gah, Star Trek was on the list. Doh. Thanks for bringing it up!
